The Mentone Hotel is a bed and breakfast situated on beautiful Cartwright Gardens in the Bloomsbury area of Central London. The hotel has been owned and managed by the same family since 1972 and has long been a popular choice with tourists and business travellers due to its pleasant surroundings and convenient location. We are just a stone's throw away from The British Museum, University of London, The British Library, Oxford Street, Eurostar, the West End Theatre District, and the neighbouring areas of Soho, Holborn and Covent Garden.
The hotel occupies three townhouses on a Georgian crescent and consists of five levels (lower ground floor, ground floor, first floor, second floor and third floor). The townhouses are Grade II listed and the hotel has no lifts (elevators) or air-conditioning. We are a non-smoking establishment.

A valid credit card or debit card is required to make a booking. We run a pre-authorisation on your card for the amount of the first night's stay but you are not charged until you arrive. If you wish, you may pay with an alternative method upon arrival.
Non-refundable bookings:
A valid credit card or debit card is required to make a booking. We charge the full amount at the moment of booking acknowledgement.

Please note that all guests with pre-paid reservations will be asked to provide their credit card details at the check-in.
A 10% discount applies to the standard rate only. Not applicable on non-refundable rates.
Terms and Conditions/Cancellation Policy:
Standard Reservations -Refundable booking- All cancellations and changes must be received by midnight London time, 2 days prior to the arrival date. Thereafter, the first night will be charged.
Non-refundable Reservations- If you cancel, modify the booking, or don't show up, the fee will be the total price of the reservation.
Group Bookings:
5 rooms or more alternatively 10 persons or more is considered a group and must be booked via our dedicated group reservations team. Please complete our group enquiry form. Alternatively, you can contact us on +44 (0)207 387 39 37 or email us at book@mentone.uk The group booking terms and conditions will then be advised and applied. Failure to comply may result in a reservation being cancelled.
Long Stay Bookings:
Reservations longer than 10 nights, requires a non-refundable deposit for 1st night.
