The Packwood House is located in the center of the quaint
historic village of Skaneateles on the north shore of Skaneateles Lake, the
easternmost of the Finger Lakes.
The Packwood House (located a half block away from the
Sherwood Inn) is a contemporary lakeside retreat which offers 19 comfortable
guest suites, many of which provide picturesque views of the lake and the
village. Each guest suite has a kitchenette with a microwave, Keurig and
refrigerator. Several feature balconies

Property and Cancelation Policies :
The Packwood House is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. If you must change, shorten, or cancel your reservation, do so within the timeframe indicated below for a full refund less any incurred change/cancellation fees (per room).
Advance Deposits
A deposit equal to one night's stay (plus taxes) is required and charged at the time of booking.
For stays of four to seven nights, an additional night's deposit is required.
An advance deposit equal to 50% of the total anticipated charges is required for reservations of eight or more nights.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled less than 10 days prior to arrival, result in a forfeiture of your advance deposit. You must cancel by 3pm 48 hours prior to arrival or you are financially responsible for any additional reserved nights not covered by your advance deposit.
Group Reservations: Reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, result in a forfeiture of your advance deposit. You must cancel by 3pm 48 hours prior to arrival or you are financially responsible for any additional reserved nights not covered by your advance deposit.
Corporate Reservations: You must cancel by 3pm 24 hours prior to arrival or you are financially responsible for all room nights booked. Please note, to qualify as a corporate reservation, company must have existing agreement with the Sherwood Inn and Appetites.
Change/Cancellation Fee
Standard Reservations: We reserve the right to charge a $35 change/cancellation fee if a reservation is shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled at any time.
Stays of four or more nights: We reserve the right to charge a $50change/cancellation fee if a reservation is shortened, rescheduled, orcancelled at any time.
No Shows
A no show reservation will be subject to a release of room at 11am the morning following the date of arrival. You are financially responsible for the entire booked stay.
Terms and Conditions
Check-In: Check-in is3pm at the Sherwood Inn, located at 26 West Genesee Street, Skaneateles, NY 13152.
Due to the intimate nature of our properties, early check-in is not permitted.
Check-Out: Check-outis by 11am.
We have a small, dedicated staff that needs time to prepare rooms for arrivingguests. If you require more time, a 12pm check-out can sometimes be arrangedwith prior notification for an additional fee of $35. Please submit your request the night prior todeparture.
If you would like to extend your stay for another night(s), please inform ourstaff and we will advise of availability. We thank you for your understanding.
Hotel Accessibility: Elevator access is available to guest rooms. Prior to and during your stay, please adviseif special accommodation or accessible parking is needed and our team will workwith you to ensure you have a wonderful visit.
Occupancy: All guestrooms accommodate single or double occupancy. Due to fire code and safety restrictions, not all rooms can accommodateextra people. There is a $25 nightly feeper each additional guest 12 and older. All visitors and guests occupying a guest room must be registered withthe front desk. We reserve the right tocharge for unauthorized guests beyond the allowed occupancy limit perroom. A limited number of rollaway bedsand pack-and-plays are available upon request.
Pets: We are unableto accommodate pets. No exceptions. Undisclosed pets may result in an additionalcleaning fee of $250 and/or being asked to leave the premises. Additionally, any damage caused by youranimal is your responsibility.
Minimum Night Stay: Our standard minimum night stay on weekends is two nights from Maythrough January 1st, requiring the booking of two consecutive nights in thesame room Friday and Saturday. Someholidays and special events may be subject to longer minimums.
Minimum Age: You mustbe at least 21 to rent our property or occupy a guestroom without a parent.
Credit Card Authorization and Payment: A valid credit card is required to make areservation. We accept all major creditcards.
If using a debit card, please note that your bank will hold your funds at thetime of authorization; for this reason, debit cards are typically discouragedfor all hotel reservations.
Your credit card and a valid ID must be presented at check-in, at which timethe remaining balance of your stay will be charged.
For alternate forms of payment or third-party payment, please inquire.
Group Reservations: To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we have specialpolicies regarding group reservations. Any booking exceeding three rooms must be booked through our groupreservationist.
Before booking online, please contact us regarding your group’s stay so that wecan mutually determine if our hotel is a good fit. All group rentals of 4 or more rooms will bereviewed by management prior to official confirmation. Therefore, reservationrequests submitted online for 4 or more rooms, or individual online reservationrequests that constitute a group reservation of 4 or more rooms are consideredunconfirmed until notified by a manager via email.
Parking: Free off-street parking is typically available foreach guest room. Additional free parking is available on nearby streets.Trailers and boats are not permitted in our lot. Please respect the neighboring businesses anddo not park in their lots; you may be towed. We are not responsible for damageto vehicles, or damage or loss of property left in parked vehicles, regardlessof location.
Desk Hours and Service: Staff is available at the Sherwood Inn around the clockfor most guest service needs.
Quiet Hours: Pleaseshow respect for other guests and keep noise to a minimum between the hours of10pm and 9am. Guests who disturb otherguests may be asked to leave and will not be provided a refund. Damage to Property: Guests are responsible for any damage or loss they cause to theproperty. Guests may be charged cleaning fees for damaged, destroyed orexcessively soiled towels, linens and/or other soft goods.
No Smoking, No Candles, No Incense, Etc.: The Sherwood Inn Properties are strictlynon-smoking. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas of the outside of theproperty. Smoking is not allowed in the building, in guest rooms, in publicoutdoor areas or on private outdoor balconies and porches. Evidence of smoking,including the smell of smoke, in the room areas will result in a minimum $250charge plus the cost of any damaged property.
The burning of any sort of object including candles or incense, and the use ofstrongly scented items is prohibited.
All the above are subject to cleaning and damage fees.
