The Charlesworth Restaurant & Hotel is a charming, historical restaurant and hotel located on the Delaware Bay in Fortescue, New Jersey. This historical landmark was founded in 1924 by Ruella Charlesworth and recently purchased by Syboll, Julian Krady (Chef) and Amy Munger Grabfelder. We are located on the water with a spacious upper and lower deck to enjoy the bay view and our legendary sunsets.
We offer fine dining to locals and people who travel from all over the country to experience our Chef Julian Krady's fresh takes on classic dishes and desserts. We hear on a daily basis this the best food I have ever ate. We are extremely proud of that. Our host Syboll is known throughout the world as one of the most entertaining and warm hearted people around. Amy Munger Grabfelder brings with her 30 plus years of customer service experience and has a genuine love for people that can be felt by all who meet her. We are excited to share our one of kind dining experience with you.

Check-In / Check-Out Policies
This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.
Late Check-Out Hour:
Late Check-out Fees: $ 25.00
Late check out (after 10:00 AM and before 12:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancellation Policies :
Flat fee of $50 if cancelled at anytime after booking but 2 days prior arrival.
Cancellation fee if cancelled 2 days prior arrival - 50% of total amount.
Terms and Conditions
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the property.
For your children’s safety, children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult throughout the property. Children under 12 cannot be left alone in any room without adult supervision and must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the pool or spa facilities.
DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT:
Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.
DAMAGE TO ROOM:
Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc. will be charge at 100% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to the property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued. (Customer will be informed in advance)
No pets allowed.
Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).
No Loud noises after 10:00PM. Be respectful of other guests.
