Hotel Guiones is a boutique eco-friendly hotel just 5 minutes by foot from beautiful Playa Guiones. Our community of rooms are hidden among luscious tropical gardens, making each space feel unique and private. All styles have outdoor areas including additional seating and hammocks. Our showers are fed by solar hot water, which is effective and efficient in our sunny climate. Our large saltwater lagoon pool is surrounded by trees, gardens and lounge chairs. The adjacent rancho is a giant furnished living room for all guests. All rooms have personal safes, hairdryers, pool towels, fridge and coffee service. There is ample, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, feel free to work away from home. Breakfast is included in your room rate daily. We have two lots for private parking. All prices listed are for double occupancy. Additional guests are $20 each per night. Our onsite restaurant, El Local, serves a farm to table menu with craft beers, hand selected wines and kombucha on tap. They are open for breakfast service at 7:30AM everyday with an international menu of breakfast favorites, fresh pressed orange juice, coffee roasted fresh onsite and inventive smoothies with local ingredients. El Local stays open to serve lunch and dinner until 9:00PM.

Late check-out (after 11:30 AM and before 3:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancelation Policies :
Cancellations: The hotel maintains a 30 day cancellation policy for regular dates; 60 days for holiday and peak periods (December 20 - January 10 and Feb 11 - April 30). If a reservation is canceled with more notice, no charges will be due.
At 30 days ahead, 50% of your reservation is due, at 14 days, 100% becomes due. 100% of the reservation is due for cancellations with less than 14 days notice.
For groups (four rooms or more booked together) the policy is 60 days ahead for 50%, 21 days, 100% is due.
By confirming the booking process, you authorize the hotel to charge 50% of the reservation to your credit card up to 30 days prior to your arrival and the remaining amount 14 days before your arrival.
If there is any problem with the credit card transaction throughout the booking, you must register a new card in order to obtain confirmation.
The result of the payment for your transaction will appear on your statement charged to Gardens at Playa Guiones Limitada.

Impossibility of Performance
I agree that the Hotel Guiones will not be liable in the event of natural disasters, fire, blockades, pandemic status, government order or other circumstances beyond our control.
Privacy Policy and Legal Statement
Hotel Guiones is committed to maintaining the strictest confidence of all information relating to our guests. We do not disclose the information you enter on our website to any other source. This information will be for the exclusive use of Hotel Guiones, under penalty of applicable law. We will never give out your email address for any reason.
Illness Related Policies
If a guest becomes ill before arrival to Gardens and needs to cancel the booking with less than 14 days ahead of the start of the reservation, the cancellation policy stands and the entire reservation will be charged to your card. We will hold a credit of 50% of this charge for up to 1 year, to be applied to a future stay for the guest.
Only in the event that Costa Rica closes borders, and there is no plausible way for the guest to enter the country, Hotel Guiones will provide a full refund or credit for a future stay valid for up to one year from the original date of reservation.

Terms and Conditions
All Hotel Guiones room rates are included on our website. Notice that we are currently charging 8% tax as a benefit from the Costa Rican government to Hospitality industry businesses due to pandemic (*in June 2023 that rate will go up to 13%).
A 50% deposit is required 30 days before arrival, remaining balance is due at check in.
Children 12 and over are welcome at Hotel Guiones and are charged full price.
We do have a ramp from the parking to the accessibility room. This room has an entrance with no steps, and a large bathroom.
Free parking is available at Hotel Guiones
The hotel doesn’t host any events, but the Restaurant located at the property has live music scheduled once a week.
Personal information from our guests is not shared with anyone. We take privacy very seriously. Our site and payment options are fully encrypted.
Hotel Guiones has a pool on site, please take into consideration that the use of the pool is at your own risk and that there is no lifeguard on duty. All guests agree to comply with the pool rules. Hotel Guiones is not responsible for any accidents that happen within the property.
On the event of a natural disaster, a government restrictive rule or any major event that will cause the guest to not be able to arrive to gardens, or force him/her to cancel the reservation, the hotel will not be responsible, since the event is not under our control.
