  • We are committed to providing you with an exceptional accommodation experience. To make sure we can fulfill our commitment, we reserve the right to cancel or relocate a reservation, due a matter of extreme urgency related to the property or facilities, in order to ensure our guests and staff safety, comfort and integrity.
  • If we don't have a valid form of payment we will proceed to cancel your reservation.

  • About us

Nokal Exclusive Stay is a private home that opens its doors to guests, offering two bedrooms with a maximum capacity of two people each. The entire house can be rented for a total of four guests.While not a hotel, we strive to offer a high-quality stay in terms of both service (cleaning, amenities, guest attention) and supplier selection (environmental impact, ethics, quality of materials).Our goal is to provide guests with an immersive experience in Mexico City, in a perfectly preserved historical house located in the charming Plaza Citlaltépetl in the Condesa neighborhood.Despite being located in the center of one of the largest metropolises in the world, guests can enjoy the freshness and peace of the countryside thanks to the lush vegetation, birdsong, and serene fountain.We want to offer special attention to each guest, giving them the tools to make the most of their stay at Nokal and in Mexico City.The concept sets itself apart by its proximity to art, discreetly showcasing works by Mexican and Latino artists throughout the house.

  • Cancellation policy

BY CONFIRMING THE RESERVATION, THE GUEST AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION POLICIES, WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS

  • $100 USD penalty in case you reduce the length of your stay 5 days prior, or less, to the date of your check-in.
  • Full lodging penalty for a no-show on the date of your check-in or if you cancel the same day of the arrival.

  • The keys

The smart card and the access badge are provided to guests for the duration of their stay and will be charged in case they are not returned.The cost of the key is $5 USD or $90 MXN.
  • Regarding children

Nokal is a place for adults to relax and unwind. We do not allow children under the age of 18.
  • Transportation service from the airport

We can provide you with transportation service in an SUV with a private driver for up to 6 people, to and from Mexico City International Airport (Benito Juárez).
Our rate is $45 USD - $750 MXN per trip.
Our private driver will wait for you at the meeting point for 90 minutes after the scheduled arrival of your flight. That is enough time for you to clear customs and claim your luggage.Please, let us know if there are any changes with your flight itinerary before boarding so we can coordinate with the driver if necessary. 
  • In case of a no show in the 90 min frame after your scheduled landing, the service will be canceled and fully charged.
  • In case you need to cancel your confirmed transportation service, 24 hours notice is required or the full charge for the service will be made.

  • Payments & billing 

All normal bookings will be charged on the date of check in. Non-refundable rates are charged at the time of booking.All of the amounts will be charged to the credit card on file. If you would like to arrange an alternative form of payment for your remaining balance i.e. a different credit card please present it at check in.Due to our cancellation policies, we charge the first night of lodging in advance 5 days prior to the check in date. The rest of the lodging and incidentals are billed on the date of the check in.Please note that a 5% service charge will also be applied to your total bill on check out. If you would like to leave anything extra, please do so at Front Desk. This is split among the whole team (those you see, and those you don't).If we don't have a valid form of payment we will proceed to cancel your reservation.Any additional services or products you have requested during your stay will be charged upon check-out.We can share the invoice 24 hours after the check-out.
  • ID required

All foreign guests will be asked to show their passports. For Mexican guests, we require any kind of valid, official ID.
  • Check-in and check-out times

Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM.Please contact us if you need to arrive or leave outside of these hours.
  • Smoking on the property

Smoking is allowed only on the terrasse, anywhere else in the property is prohibited.We provide a smoke-free establishment including in our suites, common areas and patio (including vape devices). Any type of violation of this policy will be subject to a mandatory cleaning penalty of $150 USD or $2700 MXN  without exception.
  • Reduced mobility

The building consists of 2 floors, each one accessible only through stairs. We do not have elevators.It is not convenient for people with reduced mobility.
  • Parking

We don’t have parking on site but we have private parking at 130 meters, please let us know if you wish to use it.It is also possible and secure to park in the area for $12 MXN/hour with the park meter or through the app Mueve Ciudad
  • Pets

We reserve the right to approve or deny dog accommodations.We generally allow small dogs for an additional nightly fee:
  • $55 USD - $1,000 MXN / night if the length of the stay is inferior of 2 days
  • $40 USD - $700 MXN / night if the length of the stay is superior of 2 days
  • $30 USD - $500 MXN / night if the length of the stay is superior of 5 days
To bring your pet inside, you must first read and sign the document of responsibility for damages caused by animals.For details on allowed breeds and sizes, please consult with the Nokal team.We accept guide dogs, assistance dogs or those with a valid medical certification at no cost.

  • Silence hours

Nokal being a place of peace and tranquility, we respect the calm and rest of others, both in the house and outside with the neighbors.We kindly ask you to reduce the level of noise from 11PM to 7AM.
  • Parties & events

No parties or events are allowed in the house without prior permission from the hosts.The hosts reserve the right to refuse any party or event.Nokal may also cancel the event if the agreed-upon rules are not followed or if the house rules are not respected.
  • Theft

The guesthouse is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.It is prohibited to leave valuables unattended. Please use the safety deposit boxes.The guesthouse reserves the right to cancel the stay of any guest who breaks the house rules.
  • Property Damage

Guest Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the guest house property during their stay, including furniture, appliances, bedding, towels, etc.Security Deposit: An open security deposit will be required upon the guest's arrival. The deposit will be charged or not at the end of the stay, once it has been verified that there has been no damage to the property.Repair Costs: The guest house reserves the right to charge the guest for the repair costs of any significant damage caused by the guest to the property.
  • Cleaning

Daily cleaning: The guesthouse is committed to providing basic cleaning of the guest's room each day, including making the bed, emptying the trash bins, and cleaning the bathroom and sink.Guest's responsibility: The guest is responsible for keeping their room tidy and clean, avoiding accumulating excessive garbage or dirt.Change of bed linens and towels: Bed linens and towels will be changed every three days.
  • Third Party Rights

  1. Privacy of Third Parties
Guests must not allow third parties to enter their rooms without their consent or the consent of the guesthouse.Upon prior authorization, the guesthouse is committed to respecting the privacy of third parties who visit guests or who are on the guesthouse premises.The guesthouse reserves the right to ask third parties to leave the premises if their behavior is inappropriate or if they violate the guesthouse's rules.
  1. Safety of Third Parties
The guesthouse is committed to providing a safe environment for all guests and third parties who are on its premises.Guests must refrain from engaging in activities that could put the safety of third parties at risk, such as running in the hallways or stairs, touching decorative objects, moving furniture, lighting candles, not turning off the gas in the kitchen or heating, handling dangerous objects, leaving doors or windows open unattended.The guesthouse reserves the right to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of everyone, including asking guests to leave the premises if their behavior puts the safety of others at risk.
  1. Property of Third Parties
The guesthouse is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of the property of third parties that is on its premises.Guests are responsible for the safety of their own belongings and those of their companions.The guesthouse reserves the right to remove from the premises any object that it considers dangerous, inappropriate, or does not belong to a guest or an authorized third party.

  • Force Majeure Event
  1. Definitions
  • Force Majeure Event: An event beyond the reasonable control of the Guesthouse, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, epidemics, government orders, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent the Guesthouse from fulfilling its obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
  • Guest: An individual who has made a reservation to stay at the Guesthouse.
  • Guesthouse: The establishment that is providing lodging to the Guest.
  • Reservation: A confirmed booking for a Guest to stay at the Guesthouse.

  1. Force Majeure
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the Guesthouse shall be excused from performance of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions. The Guesthouse shall make reasonable efforts to notify the Guest of the Force Majeure Event as soon as practicable.
  1. Guest Cancellation
If a Guest cancels their reservation due to a Force Majeure Event, the Guesthouse shall waive any cancellation fees. The Guest shall be responsible for any pre-paid expenses that are not refundable.
  1. Guesthouse Cancellation
If the Guesthouse is forced to cancel reservations due to a Force Majeure Event, the Guesthouse shall provide the Guest with a full refund of any pre-paid amounts. The Guesthouse shall not be liable for any other damages or losses incurred by the Guest as a result of the cancellation.
  1. Limitation of Liability
The Guesthouse shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by the Guest as a result of a Force Majeure Event. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, as well as any damages for loss of profits, loss of use, loss of data, or interruption of business.
  1. Insurance
The Guest is encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect themselves from losses that may arise from Force Majeure Events.
  1. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  1. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Guest and the Guesthouse with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
  1. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico City.
