We are 3 min. to King Salmon Airport, the gateway to Katmai National Park and World Class Fishing. Katmai Air will pick up and return to our cabins. Katmai Water Taxi picks up at Sockeye Saloon. If you are going with them you will call Red Line Taxi 907-246-6690 to request a pick up and return from them.We don’t offer meals. The grocery store is next to airport as well as restaurants. We have a community kitchen for your use. We’ll make sure you get what you need for your stay here. It’s a nice 20 min. walk if you would like to walk or we have bikes for you to use. Cancellation Policy for Bear Trail Cabins
- Guest Cancellations: Should you need to cancel your reservation at Bear Trail Cabins, please be advised that no refunds will be issued for any reason. This policy is consistently applied to all guests, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
- Reselling Cabins: If Bear Trail Cabins is able to rebook the cabin(s) originally reserved by the guest, a refund may be considered. The specific amount and timing of such a refund will remain at the discretion of Bear Trail Cabins.
- Discretion of Bear Trail Cabins: The decision to provide a refund or credit is solely the prerogative of Bear Trail Cabins management. Offering a credit or refund in certain situations neither alters our fundamental no-refund policy for guest cancellations nor establishes a benchmark for future circumstances.
- Cancellations by Bear Trail Cabins: If, for unforeseen reasons, Bear Trail Cabins needs to cancel a reservation, guests will be informed immediately, and a full refund will be facilitated using the original payment method.
- No Guarantees: The provision of credits or refunds by Bear Trail Cabins in specific scenarios doesn't assure similar treatment in other circumstances or for other guests. Every case will be assessed on its own merits.
- Communication: Guests hold the responsibility to supply accurate contact details at the time of reservation. Bear Trail Cabins is not accountable for any communication oversights resulting from incorrect contact details shared by the guest.

Terms and Conditions for Bear Trail Cabins
- Smoking and Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all cabins. Violation of this policy may result in additional charges or eviction without a refund.
- Pets: No pets are allowed within the premises of Bear Trail Cabins. Guests found with pets may be subject to extra charges or eviction without refund.
- Damages: Guests will be held responsible for any damages caused to the cabins during their stay. Any costs associated with repairs or excessive cleaning will be charged to the guest's registered account.
- Check-In and Check-Out: Standard check-in time is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. We aim to accommodate varying schedules, but such accommodations are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
- Quiet Time: To ensure the comfort of all guests, quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily.
- Complimentary Shuttle Service: We offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, located just 3 minutes away. Upon arrival, our shuttle can also make a stop at a store for any immediate necessities before heading to the cabins.
- Dinner Runs: Complimentary dinner runs are scheduled nightly for the convenience of our guests.
- Bicycles: Bicycles are available for guest use, free of charge. Use them responsibly and at your own risk.
- Taxes and Service Charges: Rates for the cabins do not include a 10% bed tax. Payments made via credit card will incur a service charge. Alternatively, cash payments are accepted.
- Liabilities: Bear Trail Cabins, its owners, and staff are not responsible for accidents, loss of personal property, flight cancellations, weather-related delays, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
- Accommodation Configuration: Rooms are primarily set up with bunk beds. The bottom bunk is made up as a regular bed, while the top bunk comes with a fitted sheet, sleeping bag, pillow, and blanket.
- Age Requirement: Guests must be 21 years of age or older to register for a cabin at Bear Trail Cabins.
