Thanks for booking your stay at the Sherman Lodge in beautiful Downtown Kalispell, and get ready to relax, reel and recreate! Prior to your stay please take note of the following information:
Occupancy Restrictions & Traveling with Minors: Due to fire code, we have strict occupancy limits. Children are considered people and should be counted in the guest total when booking. Rooms 201 & 202 have max occupancy of 4 people (Adults + Children), 203 & 204 have a max occupancy of 2 people (Adults + Children), Sherman Loft room 301 has a max occupancy of 4 people (Adults + Children). Please let us know if you will be traveling with children. If you have any additional guests that are not listed, we will charge $100/guest per night or you may be asked to leave.
Parking: There is free two-hour street parking readily available most days. Monday – Friday from 5pm-8am street parking is free. Saturday and Sunday street parking is free all day. Please observe posted parking signs. There is also a free parking lot 1/2 block west of our building, on 2nd Ave West. We are not responsible for the safety of your car when parking at or near Sherman Lodge.
Guest Access: The property is accessible by lodge guests ONLY. Guests can enter the property through the South door, located under the Porte Cochere. Use your Room Keyless code to enter the South door.
2nd Floor Patio Deck: The patio deck is for hotel guests only. It offers guests, a communal table and outdoor lounge seating, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors and mountain views. Occasionally, there are private events that restrict hotel guest access to the 2nd floor outdoor deck.
Keyless Room Code: We are excited to provide you with a keyless code for your stay. Your code will be assigned to turn on at 3pm on day of check-in. Your keyless code will automatically expire at 11am on the day of check-out. Please contact us before 4pm on the day of your check-in if you have any questions about using Keyless Code. Your keyless code will grant you access to the Main entrance on the south side of the property, elevator as well as your room.
Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to deny entrance and/or service to any guest who is disrespectful or disruptive to staff or other guests. Any such actions may result in us terminating your stay with us, effective immediately and with NO refund
Checking In and Out:
Check-in is available after 3 PM.
Check-out is at 11am.
Room information can be found above the light switch near the door.
We will do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs. You must request early check-ins and late check-outs within 24 hours of your check-in or check-out time. Extra fees may apply.
Guests are responsible for carrying their own luggage to and from their rooms. Rooms 201-204 are on the second floor up one flight of stairs or you may use the elevator. Sherman Loft is on the third floor and is up two flights of stairs or you may use the elevator.
Luggage Storage: We can receive your bags as early as 9:30am on check-in day. You can drop off and pick up your bags in True Water Fly Shop. You will be given a baggage claim ticket that you must present in order to redeem your bags. We can't promise that we have room to store your bags upon check-out. Please check with our property manager to see if we have any room available. If we are able to hold your bags after check-out, they must be picked up at True Water Fly Shop no later than 4pm that day. If they are not picked up by 4pm then fees will apply.
We're located in downtown Kalispell’s historical district. There may be some street noise but our part of town is typically quiet.
Guest Services: Our property manager is on site from 9:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday to accommodate guest needs. If you have any needs outside of these hours then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or text call us at 406-318-5900 assistance. True Water Fly Shop staff is on site until 5:30 and may be able to assist with minor issue, however, we recommend that you contact the property manager.
Site Conditions: We are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a historical brick building, there is a guest elevator on site. Rooms 201-204 are located on the 2nd floor. Rooms 301, Sherman Loft is located on the 3rd floor. Guests are responsible for carrying their own luggage to and from their rooms. The property is accessible via the South door under the Porte Cochere. Use your Keyless code to enter.
Maintenance: We do not provide 24-hour maintenance. If there is an issue with your room, we will gladly address it between the hours of 9am and 6pm. If there is an emergency after 6pm - such as a fire or flood - or if you are locked out of your room then please reach out to our property manager at email@example.com or text or call 406-318-5900 for assistance.
Housekeeping: We do a thorough cleaning before arrival and after guests leave but we do not offering daily housekeeping services, but if there is something specific that needs to be addressed in your room or if you need more towels, please let us know.
Smoking and Pets: Our property is 100% smoke free. We do not allow smoking or pets in our rooms or anywhere on our property. Guests who violate these policies may be asked to leave immediately, without refund. This will also result in a minimum $300 fine. If a violation is discovered after check out, the guest will be responsible for any damages and cleaning fees incurred from the violation.
