Each bedroom is individually decorated which lends a touch of charm and grace to your stay. Built in 1890, this meticulously maintained residence boasts over 4,000 sq. ft of historic luxury. This High Victorian style home is historically plaqued and updated to include the luxuries of a modern home while preserving the home’s character. Its architectural value, as recognized in its municipal designation, lies in its Italianate style, its intactness and the presence of the original carriage house located near the rear of the property. It is one of a very few Italianate style buildings in the town of Annapolis Royal. There would appear to have been very few alterations or deletions to the house in the years since its construction. The original fenestration, front verandah, eave brackets, low-pitched hip roof and prominent chimneys reflect the Italianate style. The two-storey bay windows on either side of the front entrance are strong elements of the front façade. Most of the interior woodwork and original room layout remains as well. The house has also retained its original setting with circular drive and surrounding lawns. There are many cafes and restaurants all within a 15 minute walk of The Lark & Loon Inn as are the many attractions and artisans of Annapolis Royal. The Saturday morning Market is a spectacular way to start the day and meet so many truly genuine locals.

Reservation Policy
Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned. We will charge one (1) nights stay on your credit card within forty eight (48) hours prior to your arrival. The Lark & Loon Inn has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Arrival Deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to forty eight (48) hours before arrival no fee will be charged. If cancelled less than forty eight (48) hours before arrival, 100% of the first night will be charged. If you are a no-show, 100% of the full reservation will be charged.
Smoking Policy
Breathe easy. The Lark & Loon Inn is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $200.00 room cleaning fee.
Parking
Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, you get to park right on our property for free. By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The Inn does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Guest Safety Policy
As part of our commitment to guest safety, we will not disclose the identity, room name or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement including the taking of or delivery of messages. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room name to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from.
