Conditions générales
Taxes & Fees: All room charges and services are subject to a 10% Service Charge and 16.5%Government Tax.
Basis: All rates are inclusive of complementary breakfast based on single or double occupancy. Extra breakfast is charged at LKR 5000 per person, subject to any applicable Govt. taxa nd service charge.
ChildPolicy: We are happy to welcome families with children however kindly note that we do not offer any special facilities(e.g. extra beds, baby cot and kids’ menu).
One child between 5-11 yrs may share the parents’ bed as a third person in the room at an extra charge of LKR 16,500 subject to applicable Govt. tax and service charge, inclusive of breakfast.
One child between 0-4 yrs may share the parents’ bed at no extra charge, inclusive of breakfast.
Children12 yrs and above are considered as adults and must be accommodated in their own room.
BookingEligibility: Guests 18 yrs and above are eligible to make a reservation at the Charleston. All guests will need to present their passport or Sri Lankan NIC on check-in.
EarlyCheck-in and Late Check-out Policy: Check-in time is 14.00 hrs.,check out time is 11.00. Requests for early check-in may only be confirmed24hrs prior to arrival and will be based upon availability. A guaranteed early check-in for any time of arrival will be subject to an extra night charge. Late check-out requests are strictly subject to availability the evening prior to departure. Where possible we will extend a complimentary late check-out until1500hrs. All confirmed late check-out requests from 15.00hrs till 18.00hrs will be subject to a half-day charge at prevailing rates. All confirmed late check-out requests beyond 18.00hrs will be subject to a full night charge at prevailing rates. Guaranteed late check-outs for any time will be subject to an extra night charge at prevailing rates.
ReservationPolicy: Reservations can be made directly through the hotel's front office department via telephone, email, website, WhatsApp or through social media. To confirm your reservation, 50% of the total reservation value is required at the time of booking, inclusive of tax and service charge. The balance of room charges can be paid at check-out along with any other charges incurred. Bookings can be made on a tentative basis and will be held for 24 hrs. until the deposit isreceived as confirmation. If no confirmation is received, the booking will bereleased without prior notification. Reservations shall not be binding untilacceptance and confirmation has been issued from the hotel.
Damages/Theft: TheCharleston Hotel is not liable for any theft, damage, injury or any other lossor incident that may happen to a guest during their stay. It is the guest’sresponsibility to hold the necessary insurance to cover any such events duringtheir stay.
