Booking Terms and Conditions for Dal Zotto Accommodation:
Thank you for booking your getaway with Dal Zotto Accommodation.
Please always treat our accommodation with respect and be mindful that other guests are staying close to you.
Payment and Rates Policy:
Full payment is required and applied upon booking your stay at Dal Zotto.
A valid credit card is required upon securing your booking or prior to your stay.
Your booking will not be confirmed until credit card details are received.
A processing fee will be charged for bookings made with Amex (1.7%)
Minimum stay - 2 nights on weekends.
Minimum stay - 3 nights during all public holiday weekends and a minimum of 4 nights during Easter.
Minimum stay - 2 nights during festival weekends that do not fall on a long weekend – La Dolce Vita, Victorian Salami Festival, Prosecco festival (La Dolce Vita).
School Holiday rates incur a 5% surcharge.
Stay 5 nights or more and receive a 10% discount (excludes school holidays, Public Holidays, and Dal Zotto festival weekends).
When staying at Dal Zotto accommodations you agree to pay all charges incurred during your stay and to settle the account upon checkout at the cellar door unless prior arrangements have been made with the accommodation manager.
General Terms & Conditions for Dal Zotto Accommodation:
Check-in time is from 2.00 pm onwards.
Check-out time is 10.00 am - any extension of stay must be confirmed with the Accommodation Manager and will be charged accordingly.
Rooms are not serviced daily, but spare towels and extra bed linen can be provided if requested.If additional bedding is required, an added surcharge will be applicable at $30.00 per bed.
Cot Hire for infants under 2 years of age will be charged at a rate of $35.00.
Visitors are not permitted post 10.00 pm in guest or the homestead.
If staying in the studios, all visitors are to be entertained in our restaurant area only. This does not apply to the homestead.
No outdoor gatherings in all areas for other guests’ convenience.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations 30 days or more prior to your booking date will receive a full refund – excluding festival weekends unless we can re-fill your booking.
Cancellation 14 – 30 days prior to your booking date will receive a partial refund of 50% or a voucher for 100% of the value of your booking price which will need to be used within 6 months of the original booking date.
All cancellations must be made in writing to stay@dalzotto.com.auIn the unlikely event that Dal Zotto Homestead and Studios need to cancel your booking within 30 days of check-in, we’ll find you an equivalent or similar accommodation, or we’ll refund you.
Key Loss Policy: 
AUD $25.00 charge applies for a lost, damaged, or misplaced key.
Only registered guests with valid identification will be issued additional keys or be allowed access to the homestead or their booked studio.
Damage & Property Loss Policy:
It is the responsibility of all guests to ensure that their hotel room door is always properly secure.
Dal Zotto accommodation management cannot be held responsible for any personal items and valuables left in guest rooms or homestead shared spaces.
For your security, a personal safe is provided in each suite and studio and are recommended for guest use.
Registered guests will be held responsible for any missing or damaged items in the homestead, their suites or studios, or any internal/external areas of the Dal Zotto accommodation. This liability extends to both registered guests and their visitors.
Guest(s) will be held responsible for any loss or damage to accommodation property caused by themselves, their visitors(s) or any person(s) for whom they are responsible.
If there is any loss or damage to the property as a result of your stay your credit card will be used to cover the costs of any repairs, replacements, or any additional cleaning. We will contact you prior to charging your card as a courtesy so as not to cause any financial inconvenience to you.
Cleaning Policy:
Any extra cleaning required or repairs as a result of your stay will be charged to your credit card accordingly.
Smoking Policy:
Smoking is prohibited inside any of our accommodation buildings and smoking must only be in the designated smoking area located in the front garden of the accommodation grounds.
Guests found in the act of or with evidence of smoking inside any accommodation building will incur an AUD $500 fine per occurrence, except for smoking in designated smoking areas around the property.
Pets Policy:
We do not allow pets in or around the accommodation areas.
Outdoor Firepits and Safe Use
If you require wood for your fire pits, we can supply them for $35.00 a bag, please let us know before arrival if you would like some wood, alternately it can be purchased from Cellar Door between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm only.
You must never leave your firepit area unattended, even when walking around the property or going to the Cellar Door.
All firepits are to be extinguished by 10.00 pm at night, so as to not disturb other guests sleeping.
Dal Zotto Bush and Flood Fire Policy:
On days that are rated as an “EXTREME CODE DAY” or “WATCH AND ACT FLOOD WARNINGS”, we will need to cancel or postpone incoming guest stays. We will also need to evacuate existing guests on EXTREME CODE-rated days. Every effort will be made to contact guests as soon as we are aware of the issue & before check-in. If you are unable to schedule another time to stay with us or if we have to cancel a two-night stay, we will issue a full refund for the remaining booked nights.
In the event that we need to evacuate you from the accommodation, you will be directed to the Whitfield Fire Refuge Centre where you will be informed by the local emergency officials as to how and when you can leave the area.
After one night of a two-night booking, we will refund you for the night not stayed. If guests are from interstate or overseas, we will endeavour to help them find accommodation in Melbourne or another local township where the bushfire or floods are not impacting that area.
