Property and Cancelation Policies :

Cancellations made 4 days prior to arrival will be made free of charge.

Cancellations made 1-3 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the entire stay.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival will be charged the entire cost of the first night’s stay plus 50% of the remaining balance.

For group reservations, (4-9 rooms booked) cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to arrival. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $25 per room.

CHECK-IN

Check-in begins at 3:00pm. If you require an earlier check-in time, please let us know at booking if you would like to arrange this.

CHECK-OUT

Please check-out with our staff by 11:00 AM. If you require a later check-out time, please let us know at booking if you would like to arrange this. If a late check-out is not arranged with our staff, a charge of 50% of the bedroom reservation cost will be applied to your final bill.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Ironclad Inn features a range of spaces for hosting events and gatherings. We always do our very best to ensure the comfort of our guests. However, there is a chance there may be an event at the Inn during your stay with us. We will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable, but we cannot be held solely accountable for the actions of event guests in attendance. If this is a concern, please let us know when booking and our guest services team will be glad to recommend a suitable bedroom.

PARKING

On-street parking is available on Princess Anne and Lewis Streets. Please be mindful of signs and one-way street traffic flow of the downtown area.

SMOKING

Smoking is prohibited throughout the House. Failure to comply with this policy will result in an additional $250 cleaning fee.

Please feel free to use our designated smoking areas located on the Front Porch and Wall Patio Garden where you will find ashtrays available. Cigars are available for purchase in our Stable Block Bourbon Room.

CLIMATE CONTROL

Every bedroom is equipped with private heating and air-conditioning, which you may adjust to your comfort.

LEWIS STREET SIDE ENTRANCE

For your security, all doors to the Inn will be completely locked after reception hours.

After reception hours, please enter and exit only through the Lewis Street side entrance. To access, a unique door code will be provided to you prior to your arrival.

FIREPLACES

Due to the historic nature of this home, we have suspended ALL fires for the time being to to ensure guest safety and ours. Guests are not at liberty to light their own fires per the Fire Marshall. A fine could result.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS

For any additional in-room guests (above the double occupancy) a charge of $50 per guest will be automatically added to the final bill. This fee covers breakfast, extra towels and linens, as well as housekeeping services after departure.

FIRE SAFETY

As a safety precaution, please refrain from lighting candles or any other flammable materials in your room.
