Arrivals & Departure Check-in time is 1pm, check out is 11:00am, if available, a later checkout can be arranged. Late checkout must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.
Alcohol, Behaviour and Eviction Excessive use of alcohol, use of banned substances or offensive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to evict (without refund) any person who breaches rules or policies.
Noise and Music Noise must be kept to a minimum at all times. There is to be no noise after 10pm or before 7am. If you wish to play music, then please ensure it cannot be heard more than 100 metres away from The Shack.
Smoking There is no smoking permitted inside The Shack or in the bunkhouse. All cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtray provided.
Maintenance and Damages Please report any required maintenance to management before you check out. Tenants must not intentionally or recklessly damage or destroy any part of the property. If The Shack or any of the rooms are found to be left in an unacceptable state, excess cleaning fees may apply. Please remember we are a family owned and operated business, and we expect that you will treat our property with respect, including The Shack and contents, fences, plants, trees and facilities. Any damages will be at the cost of the person/s responsible and will be charged at the manager’s discretion. By signing this form, you agree that the card used to pay for the booking may be charged for any damages or excess cleaning fees.
Speed Limit For the safety of all guests, a speed limit of 20km must be adhered to at all times when on the property. Please give pedestrians the right-of-way and be aware of children and dogs at all times. Please drive on the main driveway at all times. You are not permitted to explore the farm.
Bikes Guests are welcome to ride push bikes in the designated areas during daylight hours, but no riding after dark. Helmets are mandatory. You may only ride within the allocated area on the site map and are not permitted to ride along the driveway or around the farm.
Children Parents are responsible for their children and their behaviour at all times. Children must always be under parental supervision while on the property, especially when swimming or near the water. We also recommend that all children under the age of 10 or who are not strong swimmers where a suitable lifejacket when in or around the water and are always supervised by a responsible adult.
Swimming You may swim in the dam if you wish, however you do so entirely AT YOUR OWN RISK. The property owners accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, illness or death caused by swimming in the dam. The water is close to the Shack and is unfenced. We do not recommend staying here if you have very young children who do not swim well. We take no responsibility for your child’s safety. If you choose to stay here you do so at the risk of you child drowning.
Safety You are responsible for your own safety. Please wear closed-in shoes, sun-smart clothes, sunscreen and a hat at all times when outdoors. We make no guarantee that any of the structures are of a certified standard and take no responsibility for any injuries or death resulting from entering these enclosures. 
Security All guests are responsible for securing their valuables at all times. While we do our best to maintain a safe environment, management takes no responsibility for any damage or loss to your belongings during your stay.

Trees Trees around the property are inspected regularly, however trees and branches may still fall from time to time. Persons entering the property do so at their own risk. No responsibility will be accepted for persons or property damaged by falling trees or branches
Visitors You may have visitors at the property so long as there are no more than 15 guests at the property at any given time. All visitors must be well informed of how to find the shack, so that they do not get lost around the farm. The person who made the booking will be responsible and liable for any damage caused by visitors. All guests must have their full names and contact details provided to the host prior to arrival.
Weather We make no guarantees that the weather will be pleasant during your stay. Refund and/or discounts will not be offered due to poor weather conditions.
Fire As with all rural areas, there is a risk, although it is very unlikely, that a bushfire may come through the property. In the event of a fire, the property owners accept no liability or responsibility for any damage, injury or death caused to guests or their property. If you are using the fire pit, you MUST ensure the fire is kept under control at all times. We absolutely CANNOT risk the fire going into our avocado orchard. DO NOT LOAD THE FIRE WITH EXESSIVE AMOUNTS OF WOOD.
Animals There are a number of animals on the property, including (but not limited to) ducks, cats, dogs, birds, snakes, bandicoots, wallabies, dingoes, frogs and insects. The property owners accept no liability or responsibility for any damage, injury or death caused to guests or their property by any animals on the property. You approach all and any animals AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Privacy We recognise that your privacy is important, and we are committed to protecting the Personal Information that we collect from you and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principals set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) (“the Act”). We will only collect, use, or disclose personal information in accordance with the Act and our Privacy Policy. The Shack will only use or disclose personal information for the purpose which was either specified or reasonably apparent at the time of collection. We may also use or disclose it for other related purposes for which you would reasonably expect it to be used. We may use your personal information that we collected from you to send marketing or promotional material about accommodation and events. We may conduct these marketing activities via email, telephone, SMS, social media or other such means. If you no longer wish to receive the material, we will always provide an easy opportunity for you to ‘opt-out’ or you may contact us, and we will process your request as soon as practicable. We will take reasonable steps to protect the information it collects from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure.
Servicing and Pricing The Shack is not serviced during your stay unless specifically requested. Additional servicing is subject to availability and may incur a fee. Prices are subject to change without notice. Every booking must be made by prior arrangement. 
The shack is surrounded by farmlands and there are also other permanent residents on the property. Therefore, no pets or motorbikes are permitted on the property, and we ask that you do not enter any of the near-by avocado orchards or neighbouring dwellings on the property.
Waiver of Liability By signing this document, you and all other guests in your booking party release and forever discharge the owners, directors, family and managers of The Shack and 379 Godfrey Road Kairi from all manner of actions, causes of action, debts, accounts, bonds, contracts, claims and demands for or by reason of any injury to person or property, including injury resulting in the death of any guest, which  has been or may be sustained as a consequence of the guests being on the property, participating in activities on the property or staying at The Shack, and not withstanding that such damage, loss or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of the owners/manager of The Shack. Guests understand that they are not permitted to remain at The Shack, 379 Godfrey Road Kairi if they do not sign this agreement. Guests acknowledge and agree that they have carefully read this document, fully understand the document and are freely and voluntarily executing the same. Guests understand that by signing this Agreement, the guests agree to be forever prevented from suing or otherwise claiming against the property owners (and the associated owners/manager/directors/family) for any property loss, injury, illness or death that the guests may sustain whilst on the property.
