Welcome to Bijou "a little gem" in the heart of historic Charleston. Our location is superb, steps from the historic Market, carriage stables, fine dining, King Street shopping and more. A tiny 5 room Boutique Inn, each room is decorated with a nod to the natural beauty that has made Charleston special. Our rooms include: Magnolia, Sweetgrass, Indigo, Coastal and Cotton, each has a private bath and opens to the exterior. We also offer complimentary beverages, pastries and snacks to all of our guests in our lobby area.
These booking terms ('Booking Terms') are between the person or legal entity making a Booking ('You/Your') on our reservation site (‘the Website’) and the accommodation provider operating the Establishment displayed in your online reservation Confirmation, and stipulated in Your Confirmation email ('Booking Confirmation') ('We, Us, Our').
By making a Booking You are deemed to accept, and be bound by these Booking Terms. To make a Booking, You must be over 18 years of age and able to enter into a legally binding contract.
When Your Booking is confirmed by phone and/or email, a reservation number is given. This number must be retained and quoted in all communications should any cancellation or amendment be necessary. You will need to quote this reservation number when You contact Us.
Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. A reservation is deemed accepted when We have confirmed Your reservation and received either: (i) full payment of the total price; or (ii) payment of any other amount We have specified at the time of Your Booking. Where Your online payment is less than the total value of the stay, the balance will be paid by You directly to the Establishment, on either check-in or check-out or at an earlier date, if so requested by direct communication between You and the Establishment.
Accommodation Prices exclude any applicable sales taxes (unless otherwise stated). Prices quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, dates, nights and rooms shown on Your Booking Confirmation.
If You have selected booking extras these may be added to the total price of Your Booking. Prices do not include any other costs that You may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated).
All reservations made online through Our website and any third party travel sites are requests Only and are Not confirmed until contacted by BIJOU Inn through email or phone call. BIJOU Inn will not and is not responsible for relocation fees if a reservation request is rejected.
Arrival and departure
Check-in is from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Please let us know if you will be arriving earlier or later than the posted check-in times.
We do not provide onsite parking nor do we guarantee parking. An independent lot is located across the street and guests may make arrangements with the lot directly for parking arrangements.
Cancellations & Amendments
Cancellations: To receive a full refund you must contact BIJOU by phone or email 30 days before arrival.
**No cancellations or refunds for bookings with payment in full. (See Special Requirements**)

Your card will be authorized for the full amount of your reservation. You will be charged the full amount of your reservation fee 72 hours prior to arrival or upon arrival. Your room reservation is not secure without sufficient funds.
We do no give refunds for early check outs.
All rooms are double occupancy only.
No children under the age of ten.
No Parties/ No bachelor or bachelorette group bookings
No online bookings after 4pm for reservations that evening (UNLESS you have spoken to someone to confirm reservations!).
Reservations are not confirmed until you receive reservation confirmation from us via email, phone, or mail.
Do NOT assume your reservation is completed until you hear from us.

Cancellation terms are as specified on your Booking Confirmation as displayed on the Website or sent to You by email.
Deposit: BIJOU collects your credit card information at the time of booking and authorizes your card for 100% of your stay.
Your entire payment for your room will be charged to your credit card within three days of your arrival.
If your card is declined by your bank or if there are insufficient funds in your account, we reserve the right to cancel Your Booking automatically.
IMPORTANT - We may use Your payment card details to guarantee Your reservation according to PCI-DSS security standards.
Although We take care in how we present our accommodation online, We do not make any particular representation as to the suitability of Our accommodation to your specific requirements.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the price of the Booking and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or special damages. We will not be liable to You where We have exercised reasonable care and skill in our provision of the selected accommodation services to You. We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factors beyond Our reasonable control, including the provision of said accommodation services.
You are responsible for any damage or loss caused by You during Your stay with Us, including any damage to Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and You agree to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. Further, we reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behavior that causes a disturbance or nuisance to Our staff or to other guests on Our premises.
We may process any Personal Information You provide to Us for the sole purposes of completing our duties under this Agreement. You have the right to request access to the information we hold about You at any time, and the right to request that Your data be corrected or deleted (except where we are required to hold it by law). To do so please send your request to US at the address provided on Our Site and on Your Confirmation.
Your Personal Information may also be processed by third party suppliers who operate Our reservation or Our payment system, or by travel agencies, or where the transfer of Your data is necessary for the successful completion of Your Booking. Whilst we have been given assurances that these third parties operate in conformance with general Data Protection standards, we cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for how these third parties may use your Personal Information. If you have any concerns you should address them to these third parties directly.
One such third party is our software provider Cloudbeds.
By making a Booking, You consent to this processing of information as described above and the transfer of Your information to us, our suppliers and the booking website(s) through which Your booking originated.
