The Inn is located on Highway 101 in Florence, Oregon.  Only one short block from Florence’s historic Old Town/Waterfront District complete with marina, seasonal open-air market, outstanding restaurants, art galleries, shops, boutiques and the Siuslaw Pioneer Museum. Weekly discount rates are available for winter. Florence, Oregon is a great place to visit. It is the gateway to the magnificent Oregon Sand Dunes, a short drive from sparkling clean ocean beaches, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, championship golf courses, horseback riding, Sea Lion Caves, and Heceta Head Lighthouse, perhaps the most photographed lighthouse in America. Formerly known as the Hotel Ragan, the Inn has been in continuous operation since 1938 and has always been family-owned. In summer 2019 we took over operations and have been upgrading, renovating and working hard to make your stay a great value.

CANCELLATION POLICIES
If you must cancel your reservation, please notify us 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a charge of each night's stay plus tax. Failure to cancel reservations 48 hours prior to arrival will result in a reservation charge. If you simply do not check-in, you will be charged for the first two reserved night's stay plus tax. PET POLICIES 
Dogs are welcome only in designated pet rooms. There is a one-time charge of $25 per pet. For any room damages, additional fees may be charged at the conclusion of your stay.
EARLY ARRIVALS AND LATE DEPARTURES
We ask that guests contact the hotel as far in advance as possible regarding early arrivals and late departures. The hotel room is at your disposal from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 11:00 am. The hotel is entitled to apply exceptions on check-in and check-out times stated above. For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.In case you arrive to the hotel according to the arrival time agreed and the room you have reserved is not available, the hotel is liable to arrange you an equivalent room without extra charges. 
BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
When reserving a room your name, address, email address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required. A credit card is required to reserve a room.A room reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation number. The hotel is entitled to apply different kinds of rules such as reservation fee or credit card guarantee in order to secure the reservation.
GENERAL RESERVATION INFORMATION
Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card when you reserve. Blackout dates and conditions apply. Check-in is after 3PM. Check-out ends at 11AM. Guests must be at least 21 years old to reserve a room. Guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over 21 to stay in the hotel.For security purposes, please provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in. A hold of $200 per day may be placed on your credit card to cover incidentals.Florence Lighthouse Inn is a smoke free environment. Please note that a minimum fee of $250 will be charged if smoke is detected in guest rooms. This includes vaping and weed use.
EARLY DEPARTURE
Early departure before the agreed day must be confirmed by the hotel at least 48 hours prior to departure.If your reservation is for several nights the hotel is entitled to charge you the full amount for the whole stay. Early departure before the agreed day may also cause changes in the room rate confirmed.
PAYMENT We accept the most common credit/debit cards. The hotel is not obliged to accept foreign currency, vouchers, cheques or credit/debit cards unless the hotel has volunteered to do so.In case the reservation has not been paid in advance it should be settled upon arrival at the hotel by cash or credit card. When reserving a room, the hotel is entitled to approve and charge credit cards for the full or partial stay. A reservation fee may be charged to the credit card as a prepayment. This will be deducted from the final bill. If the hotel has not made an approval for prepayment from your credit card, the hotel is entitled to require a deposit for services.
GUEST BEHAVIOR IN THE HOTEL
We follow good manners and hotel rules at the hotel. In case of breaking these rules, you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private hotel premises such as hotel rooms and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed
RESPONSIBILITY ON YOUR VALUABLES
The hotel is not responsible for valuables stored in your room.The hotel is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the hotel’s parking area or valuables inside the vehicle. The hotel parking area is not actively supervised and the hotel is not responsible for the property kept in there.
GUEST’S RESPONSIBILITY ON DAMAGE
As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest or your pet in the hotel room or in hotel premises. This applies also to the hotel furniture and other equipment, other guests in the hotel or their property.The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles.
RENTING HOTEL ROOMS FOR MINORS
Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to make a reservation. The adult making a reservation for a person under the age of 18 will be held responsible for the minor, whether he or she accommodates with the minor or not. An underage person traveling alone will need a letter of consent signed by a guardian. The letter has to include the minor’s name, birthday and dates of arrival and departure. The name and contact information of a guardian are also required.
