Big Timber Resort is a perfect 4-season resort for sportsmen and families. It is a secluded and peaceful resort 25 miles north of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The resort is situated on the Eastern shore of North Star Lake - across the street from thousands of acres of the Chippewa National Forest and is full of Northwoods charm. Big Timber has seven very nice and clean vacation cabins. Each are distinct in design and have unique character. Four are 2 bedroom cabins, one has 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft and two have 3 bedrooms. Each cabin has soft water, air conditioner, heater, flat screen TV (with Roku attached), radio/CD player and WiFi is available throughout the resort. Each has a fully furnished kitchen, with newer appliances, microwaves and coffee makers. We also provide all bedding. All cabins are non-smoking and non-vaping. For the comfort of all our guests and for the safety area wildlife, no pets are allowed at the resort.

Guests are responsible for the full length of their reserved stay. No credit will be given for late arrival or early departure.
The balance of the bill will be paid upon arrival. Any additional charges will be paid the evening before departure.
Smoking or vaping are allowed outside the cabins only.
No RVs, tent camping, jet skis or personal watercraft allowed and 4-wheelers must be trailered and not driven on the resort property.
Due to resort insurance regulations, no fireworks or firecrackers are allowed on resort property.
No lifeguards are on duty at the beach, so guests will swim at their own risk.
We know accidents do happen. Please report any broken items immediately to resort management. Guests will be financially responsible for any unreported damage, loss, or excessive cleaning resulting from their stay.
No pets are allowed on the resort either by guests or day visitors. Guests who do not adhere to this regulation and arrive with a pet, will need to remove the pet (a list of area kennels will be suggested). If the guests chose to leave, they will still be responsible to pay their entire bill.
