Property and Cancelation Policies :
BASE RATE: A reservation with this rate will be charged in full to the credit card submitted. Cancellation or modification of the reservation is permitted without penalty up to 30 days prior to arrival date. Within 30 days of arrival date no cancellation or modification is permitted without a 100% penalty. No refund will be offered if cancelled within 30 days of arrival date. No-show, late arrival, and/or early departure will not be eligible for any or partial refund. No-shows will be charged to the credit card on file.
FULLY FLEXIBLE RATE: This rate is fully flexible up to 10 days of arrival. It can be cancelled, changed, or modified without penalty up to 10 days prior to arrival. This rate is non-refundable within 10 days of arrival (100% penalty apply). Although not refundable within 10 days of arrival, this reservation allows for change/modification, including date changes up to 3 days prior to check in without any penalty. Modification within 3 days of arrival is not permitted. Full penalty (100% of deposit/payment) apply to early departures and no-show of the reservation and no refund will be offered.
DISCOUNTED CASH RATE: This rate is non-refundable once it has been booked and is payable in CASH ONLY at the time of check in. First night or multiple nights may be charged to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation at the discounted rate (discounted rate plus 10% hotel tax) at the discretion of the property. The remaining balance is due in CASH (US Dollars) at check in. There is no refund for no-show, cancellation, or late check in and/or early departure. The reservation cannot be changed or cancelled without a 100% penalty. Please note that should you be unable to pay the balance in CASH at the moment of check in, the full pre-discount rate will be applied to all nights of the reservation and no discount will be offered. No-shows (a cancellation within 30 days prior to check is considered a no-show) will be charged the full amount of the reservation to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.

Rate is for one or two persons in the room (four in Canopy Suite). WiFi is included in the rate as well as Breakfast which is served at BomBom beach bar & restaurant.
Terms and Conditions
GENERAL RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY
-Unless you have a specific Reservations & Cancellations Policy tied to your particular rate you can cancel or modify the reservation free of charge up to 30 days prior to arrival date. Any cancellation or modification after the 30 days are not allowed without a 100% penalty. Please note that the CASH rate is completely non-refundable after booking.
-We accept Visa, MasterCard, Bank Transfers, and Cash (U.S. Dollars) as payment. We do not accept American Express.
-A valid credit card in the name of the person making the reservation is necessary in order to process and confirm a reservation.
-Should you prefer to pre-pay your stay via a Bank Transfer, please contact us directly for instructions and assistance at reservations@islandplantationbocas.com
-You can cancel or modify your reservation according to the Cancellation Policy of the particular rate that you book at Island Plantation.
-Should you opt for a non-refundable rate or if your reservation otherwise does not quality for a refund please ensure that you have proper travel insurance to cover the cost of the reservation should anything unforeseen happen (illness, travel disruptions, etc.).
-A government hotel tax of 10% will be added to the total for your reservation.
-No refunds or compensations will be offered for early departures, delayed check-in date, and no-shows, regardless of rate category.
-We reserve the right to cancel a booking and refund any payments made at any time.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR STAYING AT ISLAND PLANTATION
-As the property is not suitable for small children, we have a minimum age limit of 14 years.
-We are unable to accept pets at the property.
-Please note that check-ins after 6pm must be pre-arranged with the property with a minimum of 24 hours notice.
-Please note that we are located in a natural tropical rain forest and hence Island Plantation may not be a suitable destination for everyone. Please expect to see insects and animals. You should also expect rain, high humidity, and high temperatures due to our tropical rainforest location.
-Island Plantation does not offer Air Conditioning or Television
-Saves are provided in each room for the storage of valuables. Please utilize the safe provided as Island Plantation is not responsible ro any missing valuables.
-Island Plantation is a jungle hotel with potential hazards. We encourage you to be extra cautious while on the property as Island Plantation accepts no responsibility for personal injury or unforeseeable accidents.
-Bluff Beach isn’t always swimmable. Exercise extreme caution during wave activity. Strong currents are common at Bluff Beach. Depending on multiple factors, the ocean can be crystal clear without any waves or it can have high waves and strong currents. Conditions can change one day to the next. Bluff Beach is a public beach (like all beaches in Panama) and hence, the hotel offers no life guard at the beach.
-Please note that the whole Island's electricity grid is under upgrade, hence power outages may occur. Due to our rainforest location our other utility services are not city quality. We may also ask you to conserve energy and water.
