Making a reservation at a bed and breakfast is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Casa Frida Cozumel is a small property where every guest reservation made is both important and special to us and last minute changes or cancellations significantly affect our business. When you reserve a room, we agree to turn away all other requests for that room and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days you reserve it. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason we uphold a strict cancellation policy:
Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of their actual arrival or departure date. Guests who need to depart prior to their reservation end date will be expected to honor their reservation commitment. No-shows are also responsible for full payment of their entire reservation.
Cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made 14 or more days prior to your scheduled arrival to receive a refund. All cancellations are subject to a$25.00 administrative processing fee per room, per stay.
Reservations during holidays or special events require a 30-day cancellation notice prior to your arrival date for a refund minus a 25US administrative processing fee per room, per stay.
While we understand that situations do arise, in the unlikely event that you must cancel your reservation within 14 days of your arrival, you will be responsible for the price of your entire reservation. This policy applies for reservations regardless of when the reservation was made.
There are no exceptions to this policy including Force Majeure situations (sickness, family emergencies or weather related issues).
In the event you need to change or reschedule your reservation to another date when your room is available, please do so 14 days or more in advance of your arrival to avoid a 25US administrative fee (In case of Force Majeure situation, we will let you reschedule less than 30 days prior your arrival, we keep the right to ask you to prove your situation with medical certificate, death certificate for example).

Payment for rooms during these events are due in full 30 days prior to event dates.

Booking Information
To reserve the room of your choice, we offer two convenient ways for you to contact us: o
ur own website allows you to check availability and book rooms, packages and specials24-hrs a day. When making an on-line reservation, the room is removed from inventory to prevent duplicate reservations.  If we’re away from the property and you callus to make a reservation, there is a chance that another guest may reserve online for the same room and date. While we’re away from the property, it may not be possible to close out the inventory in a timely manner to prevent your requested room from being reserved by another guest. Should there be an on-line reservation, the on-line reservation will be considered the confirmed reservation.To reach us by email, please send us an email at casafridacozumel@gmail.com . We will answer as son as possible, generally during our regular business hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Room Rates
Rates listed on www.casafridacozumel.com are the most current, up-to-date rates on the Internet. Rates listed are based on double occupancy. These rates do not include taxes (V.A.T 16% and local tourist tax 3%). Rates are subject to change anytime.
Our prices and policies may vary for special events, holiday periods, and group bookings. During holiday periods and special events, we do not redeem gift certificates, accept any type of discounts, specials or coupon offers. Reservations and gift certificates are non-transferable.A 25US charge per additional guest per night applies to Punta Sur room (maximum 2 additional guests for this room).

Confirming a Reservation
We do accept walk-in guests, but it´s always better if you can book prior arrival. Last minute reservations (less than 24 hours prior to arrival) should be made by the website only.
As soon as booking is made, 100% of the booking amount is charged including taxes. We must have a valid credit card number on file at the time of your booking, even if you are paying the balance by other means. If for any reason your payment method is declined, we cancel your reservation and place the room back in our inventory and notify you via e-mail. You will need to submit a new reservation with a valid payment. Please remember that when your booking is made, we are making a commitment to provide you with a reserved room and you are agreeing to our B&B’s terms regarding our cancellation policies.

Check In/Check out Time

Check-In: 03:00 pm – 06:00 pm
If you arrive after 6:00 pm, let us know in advance for late check-in instructions.
Check-Out: 11:00 am
You must leave the room no later than 11:00 am. Staying in the room any later than this may result in you being charged a fee or an extra night.
Late Check-Out: 15US/hour until 1:00 pm. After 1:00 pm,you will be charged one extra night.
Luggage Storage: After Check out, you can leave your luggage at Casa Frida for free, we will be happy to hold them until you leave.
For same-day reservations, please call us at 00521(987)8720015. We remember you that is always better if you book on the website. We will accept same-day reservations until 4:00 pm.

Smoking
We do not allow smoking in our guest rooms. Guests smoking in the house or in the guest rooms will be charged the full deposit and any costs to return the room(s) to a non-smoking status. Smoking is allowed outdoors in a designated smoking area.

Guests,Children and Pets
We cater to the comfort, privacy and security of our registered guests. Guest visitors are only permitted on the property with prior approval. If you would like to have any non-registered guests join you for breakfast there is an additional charge of 10US per person and advance approval is required.
Casa FridaCozumel does not allowed children, it is an adults only property.
Inconsideration of our guests and those who are sensitive to pet allergies, we regret that we are not able to accommodate guest pets.

MassageAppointments
Casa Frida Cozumel offers in-room massages. We recommend that you call before or send us an email to make your massage appointment(s) with as much advance notice as possible. Appointments must be cancelled 48 hours in advance to avoid full charge. Prices depends on type of massage you would like. (Menu available in each room).

Breakfast Rules and Times
If you book directly on our website, you will enjoy a continental breakfast for free. If you book on other channels (Airbnb, Booking, Expedia), you can buy the breakfast the day you arrive, for an additional charge of 10 US/guest/night.
A full breakfast is usually served at 8:00 a.m. to 10:00am (Monday to Saturday) and 9:00 am to 11:00 am. We are happy to accommodate earlier or later times if arranged in advance. The day you checkin, we will ask you the time you would like to have your breakfast for a better organization. Please let us know of any food allergies.
 
AlcoholicBeverages
Casa Frida Cozumel does not hold a license to resell alcoholic beverages.Guests may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, please drink responsibly. There are several establishments to purchase locally as well.

Damages
While reasonable wear and tear is anticipated, negligent damages found to be the responsibility of a guest will be assessed and charged to the guest. Please report all spills to the owner promptly.

Lost and FoundItems:
Should you leave an item behind, we will place it in a safe location until we hear from you. We will be glad to return the item via DHL for the cost of the postage plus a 5US service fee charged to your credit card on record.
Casa FridaCozumel Bed and Breakfast is privately owned and owner-occupied. The owners reserve the right to refuse service or accommodations to anyone for any lawful reason. Any behavior on the part of guests that affect the safety or peaceful enjoyment of other guests may result in eviction without refund.
