Detailed Instructions on how to get to the resort from Parrita: From the main street you have to take the entrance that says Playa Isla Palo Seco. From there it would be 5 kilometers on a paved road. When you get to the beach (there is no telephone coverage) you have to take a left 7 kilometers on a dirt road, our hotel is located on the right-hand side.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
If you cancel 5 days or more before the planned arrival date, we will refund the full amount paid. If you cancel your reservation less than 5 days before your planned arrival date, you will have a penalty equivalent to 50% of the stay. If you cancel your reservation less than 5 days before your planned arrival date, add-on services are non-refundable. If you do not show up (No Show) on your planned arrival date, no refund will be made: the penalty will be 100%. In cases where returns or cancellations occur, they will be credited to the card used for the purchase.
In the case of unforeseen departures that have not been reliably communicated to the hotel, before Check-In, the client will be penalized by billing the total amount of the reserved stay in a timely manner. In the event that the client has paid the total amount of the stay before Check In, they will not be able to claim a refund of the invoiced amount.

Terms and Conditions
This website is operated by HOTEL TRANQUILIDAD RESORT PLAYA PALO SECO S.A, henceforth referred to as "The Hotel". We provide our products and services under the following Terms and Conditions. They may be periodically modified and updated by The Hotel without prior notification to the User or any other natural or legal person. For this reason, we suggest the periodic review of these Terms and Conditions each time the website is accessed. Access to the website implies acceptance and knowledge by the User of the following Terms and Conditions.
Payment Policy Once you complete your reservation and make the payment, you will receive our confirmation email. The price will be charged in dollars and your invoice will show Hotel Tranquilidad Resort Playa Palo Seco. Prices are subject to change depending on the season and/or demand, and are subject to change without prior notice. The guest can make changes to the reservation without penalty in the first 48 hours after they made the reservation, these changes will be subject to room availability and current rates. If you require a digital invoice at the end of the stay, it will be issued after check out. A form must be completed at check-out and the invoice will be issued via email. Only payments made to The Hotel directly will be billed. Billing does not apply to payments through intermediaries. Accommodation and Prices The Hotel will provide accommodation to the person in whose name the reservation was made (the "main guest") and to the exact number of guests included in the reservation of each room. The main guest must be present during check-in, and all guests must present a valid passport or Costa Rican Cedula.
Rooms are available from 2:00 p.m on the day of arrival and check-out must be done no later than 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Additional beds or cots are not guaranteed, therefore, the maximum occupancy is understood by sharing existing beds, unless the hotel in question has the availability to grant one. Policy on children Children up to 1 year and 11 months of age are free but must be included on the reservation. If there are no cots available, infants must share a bed with their parents. Guests between 2 and 11 years of age are considered children, there is a charge per child, and each child must be included on the reservation.

Registry and Hosting: All users staying at The Hotel must properly register at the reception desk with a passport or valid Costa Rican cedula. After registration, users will be called Guests. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and Check-out is at 11:00 a.m, and the accommodation must be paid each night in advance, either prior to the reservation, or directly at the counter no later than 3:00 p.m. of each day; otherwise the room will be subject to availability for that night. In case of arrivals before check-in time, the guest can register and use the hotel facilities and can only have the room keys if it is available, otherwise they must wait until check-in time at 2:00 p.m. Visitors must stay in the parking lot or restaurant, if they wish they can purchase a day pass to use the facilities. All rooms are Non-Smoking. If the guest smokes inside the room, they will have to pay a deep cleaning charge equivalent to $200 USD. The Hotel is not responsible for valuables or belongings left in common spaces. All objects found and reported to The Hotel will be safeguarded in accordance with internal procedure. All guests are committed to good behavior and good manners within the hotel facilities. The Hotel reserves the right to evict without prior notice any guest whose behavior or conduct affects other guests, the staff or the integrity of the property. The consumption or exchange of illegal substances or items within the hotel facilities is prohibited. The Hotel reserves the right to report this conduct to the competent authorities without prior notice. In case of wanting to extend the departure time, the Guest must inform the Reception before 11:00 am and a charge per additional hour is applied, being subject to room availability. In a case in which the guest wants to extend his stay after the original departure date, he must notify Reception before 11:00 am on the day of departure and this request will be subject to room availability and current rates.
Pet Policies We are a Pet-friendly hotel or "Friends of your Pets" because we know how important your pets are to you and your family. For health reasons, the following pet limitations apply: pets are not allowed entry to the pool, and no pet presence in the kitchen or near guest tables during meal times.
The client or guest accepts that the pet must always remain under the supervision, care, and control of the person who signs the required pet policy document. Any noise, act, or situation that affects the tranquility of others, generates damage or harm to people, facilities, equipment, vehicles, or elements caused by the pet, is the sole responsibility of the person who signs the required pet policy document, and therefore assumes the cost of any damages.
With the payment and confirmation of your reservation, you as a guest fully accept the terms and conditions listed here, accepting that you have read and fully understood it. Therefore, by accepting the reservation, you give full validity and legality of what is stipulated here..
