Are you up for a Palawan adventure? There's no better way than to go to an off-the-beaten-path beach vacation!
Surya is located inside a 2-hectare beachfront community in a remote but accessible village in Aborlan, just the next town south of Puerto Princesa. Our cottages are steps away from the beach and boasts of amazing views of the sunrise and the moonrise.
The roads going to Surya is quite an adventure. Going out of Puerto Princesa city, you will pass by coastal towns, the famous Acacia Tunnel (a magical row of Acacia trees that form into a tunnel along Puerto Princesa South Road), rice fields, and a 5-km dirt road to end your journey.
When you reach Surya, you will be welcomed to a private, fenced, and well maintained beach community. Apart from a couple of private houses, the rest of the area is filled with nothing but coconut trees :)
There are mangroves in some parts of the shore and outside the community fence. If you’re looking for more adventure, feel free to explore them. You might see wild animals like monitor lizards, squirrels, different bird species, and maybe even snakes so explore with caution.
The locals are friendly and speak Tagalog and English.
The closest airport is Puerto Princesa International Airport. We offer private transportation (with additional cost) from the airport or any point in Palawan to Surya and vice versa.
We have an in-house chef who can prepare delicious meals for you! Therefore, we do not allow outside food and drinks or a corkage fee of P300 per person per night will apply.

Check-in/Check-out Policies
This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies:

Late Check-out Hour: 5:00 PM
Late Check-out Fees: ₱500.00
Late check-out (after 11:00 AM and before 5:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancelation Policies :
- 50% deposit is non-refundable but re-bookable if modification of booking is communicated at least 15 days in advance. Rebooking requests are subject to availability and price difference. Only one time rebooking is allowed.
Terms and Conditions
- A 50% downpayment is required to confirm your reservation.
- All remaining payment balance should be settled upon check in.
- Children 7 yrs old and above are considered as adult and will be charged full rate.
- Only 1 child below 6 yrs old is free for bed sharing. If you have 2 kids below 6 yrs old, the second child will be charged as an adult.
- Check in time is between 1pm-6pm. Check out time is 11:00AM. Excess hours of stay will be charged P100.00 per hour and subject to availability.
- Free parking is available inside the premises.
- Please keep your valuables inside the safety box in your room. The resort is not responsible for the loss of any cash or valuables inside the premises.
- Room key must be surrendered to any staff upon leaving the room or upon check-out. The loss of key will be charged P1,000.
- Please inform any staff if you are ready to check out so we can check the room before you leave.
- Please turn off the AC, fan, and lights when leaving the room or when not in use.
- We have a generator that can power small appliances only during brown outs. Please do not use the AC and water heater when the power is running on generator to avoid over loading it.
- We change bed sheets, pillowcase, towels, every 3 nights upon the guest’s request. You may request any of the staff to collect your trash as often as you need.
- Please do not throw anything in the toilet bowl to avoid getting it clogged.
- Avoid staining the towels, pillowcase, and bedsheet. Stained towels, pillowcase, and bedsheet will be charged P1,000.
- Laundry service needs to be requested at least 1 day before.
- Any damages and things taken out from the property will be charged to the guest accordingly.
- Visitors or guests that are not part of the reservation are subject to day trip fees. Visitor are welcome between 9am-5pm only. We have limited slots for day trip guests so kindly check with us first if you want to invite more than 2 visitors.
- Bringing of food and drinks from outside is subject to corkage fees of P300 per person per night. Our chef will be happy to cook meals for you during your stay.
- Please do not leave cooked food or sweets out in the open as they may attract “unwanted guests”. Always store them inside your fridge.
- Prohibited drugs, combustible materials, deadly weapons and other items prohibited by the law are not allowed inside the premises.
- Cigarette smoking is not allowed inside the room. You may do so at the balcony or common areas.
- Illegal activities are prohibited.
- Avoid causing disturbance and nuisances in the premises. Please observe quiet hours between 10pm-6am.
- Please respect privacy at all times.
