Terms and Conditions
Accommodation rates are per room per night and include a continental breakfast. Taxes are not included and consist of GST, PST and MRDT totalling 15%.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Rooms are usually available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Guests are invited to check with front desk to see if their room is available for an earlier check-in. If the room is not available for early check-in, guests are welcome to use the Woodstone's facilities until check-in time.
Settlement of the bill in full, less any advance payments must be made prior to departure from the hotel.
The Woodstone accepts the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as debit credit cards and cash.
IN-ROOM MEAL SERVICE
The Woodstone is pleased to offer in-room meal service for breakfast and dinner. A service charge of $25 plus GST is applicable. Buy a bottle of wine with dinner and the fee is waived.
The Woodstone has its own car park, which is free to guests.
The Woodstone has secure storage for bicycles. Please advise that you are bringing a bicycle when booking.
ACCESSIBILITY AND SPECIAL NEEDS
The Woodstone has wheelchair access to its entrance, main dining room and outdoor dining patio. The hotel offers one room with modified facilities including a large shower with or without a shower seat as well as an accessible toiled for guests with physical disabilities or elderly guests. As needs do vary, guests are requested to contact the hotel before booking. The hotel does not have an elevator to the 2nd floor.
Dogs are welcome at the Woodstone for a per night fee plus taxes. Guide dogs stay free of charge. The hotel has 2 dog-friendly rooms only on the main floor, which can accommodate 2 dogs maximum per stay. If these rooms are booked, a guest cannot bring their dog as the hotel does not allow dogs in any other room. Guests are requested to contact the hotel and to read through our Pet Policy on the Woodstone's website before booking.
Guests are to advise the hotel of any and all food allergies and sensitivities as well as their severity at the time of booking. Our kitchen is not nut-free nor gluten-free. Guests are encouraged to contact the hotel before booking to discuss our procedures should there be any concerns.
Smoking and/or vaping are not permitted within the hotel building, common areas or private patio's however, guests who smoke are permitted to do so outside in designated areas. The use of marijuana is not permitted in this area. There is a significant room recovery fee of $200 for guests who do not comply in order to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest rooms to a smoke-free condition.
No wines, beers or spirits or food may be brought onto the main patio or hotel grounds by hotel guests or their guests for consumption.
DAMAGE TO HOTEL PROPERTY
Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any and all costs associated with repairs and/or replacement including the need for additional cleaning above normal housekeeping will be charged to the registered guest. Should this damage come to light after the guest has checked out and hasn't mentioned the damage and/or excessive soiling, we reserve the right to immediately assess a fee of up to $200 to the credit card on file. Should there be a balance over the initial $200, the guest will be advised before the charge is made to the credit card. The guest will subsequently be supplied with photos and/or a description of the damage and necessary remediation upon request.
COMMENTS AND COMPLAINTS
We would greatly appreciate that any comment or complaint regarding the stay be made to the General Manager or Owner at the time of the visit so that the matter can be resolved immediately. Our goal is that the stay be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Woodstone, the hotel's liability to the guest is limited to the price of the booking.
Unless the hotel is liable under the above clause, the guest indemnifies the Woodstone from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from the booking, event, or function, the guest or any of their guests.
The Woodstone will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond the hotel's reasonable control.
The Woodstone is not responsible for damage to, or theft from or to, vehicles parked on the hotel's premises.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to their room, furnishings, and equipment in them for any act, omission, default or neglect of the guest and their guests and will pay to the hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
The Woodstone is not responsible for any liability for services rendered by third parties to the guest notwithstanding that such services may be arranged by the hotel.
