The Always Inn Idyllwind Vacation Cottages (Sleeping Beauty Cottage and Serependity Cottage) share a large one-half acre lot in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountain Community of Idyllwild/Fern Valley, with incredible views of famed Tahquitz Rock, easy access to Humber Park and 50 trails covering 275 miles in Mount Jacinto State Park. The cottages are ideal for romantic and family getaways and retreats any time of year.
Sleeping Beauty Cottage comfortably sleeps four and Serependity Cottage comfortably sleeps six. Our cottages are pet friendly. They are located 1.3 miles from the heart of the historic downtown village, featuring the Idyllwild Nature Center, Earth & Fire, 25 restaurants, 45 shops, live music, breweries and wine tasting rooms, numerous arts and crafts galleries lining quaint streets, and more.
The cottages are located 3.5 miles from the famed Idyllwild Arts Academy, which attracts students, “Artists in Residence” and visitors from around the world. Just two hours from San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County, Idyllwild draws visitors who love stepping back in time to enjoy nature, peace, quiet and four-season charm. Idyllwild is a year-round outdoor enthusiasts’ dream, with mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, fishing, meditating, and stargazing, and amid majestic pines, local Manzanita trees and stunning boulders. Winding scenic Highway 243 and Highway 74 leading to and from Idyllwild are popular with motorcycle riders on weekends.
