The agreed prices are current and include local taxes and fees at the time of booking.
The payment must be paid in full at the time of booking. Payments are received in US DOLLARS or COSTA RICAN currency (colones) only, and may be paid by Visa,MasterCard, or American Express.
The rooms are guaranteed to be ready for checking from 15:00 on the date of arrival until 20:00 hours.
On the agreed day of departure, rooms must be vacated and be at the Hotel’s disposal by 11 hours at the latest. After this time the Hotel may charge the day-time room rate up until 4 pm to compensate it for the additional use of the room and the costs incurred by way of the delayed availability of the room; from 4 pm it may charge 100 percent of the current full lodging price. In case, the guest wants to extend his stay after his original departure date, he must notify our front desk before 11:00 on the day of departure, and this request will be subject to room availability and current rates.
NO-SHOWS and/or un-used room nights, and/or early check-outs are NOT REFUNDABLE regardless of the season.
Due to Byblos’ strict payment and cancellation policies, we strongly recommend travel insurance. A selection of travel insurance carriers can be found at: www.insuremytrip.com.
The hotel will have a place to storage the luggage for guests arriving before check in time and a few hours after the check out at no additional cost.
The Hotel offers free service of electronic safes in each room. The Hotel is not responsible for the Guest's belongings or values that are not deposited inside the box. The Hotel is not responsible for valuables or belongings left in common spaces. All objects found and reported to the Hotel will be safeguarded in accordance with the internal procedure.

Hotel Byblos is partially equipped for the needs of guests with disabilities. We have ramps to get access to the Restaurant, the Sport Bar, restroom and we have a handicap room with occupancy for two people.
We offer free parking during the stay. When using a parking lot offered by the hotel to park your vehicle, Byblos Hotel is simply offering a space for parking. This does not equate to us having accountability for any vehicle. Do not leave valuables or other items in a parked vehicle. Byblos Hotel will not be responsible for the loss or theft of any items while a car is parked. Please note that hotel staff cannot drive or move your vehicle for you.
Smoking is prohibited in common areas and rooms. The hotel charged an extra fee or fine if someone is found violating the law for the amount of 100 USD.
If you plan to travel with your pet, we recommend that you confirm directly with Byblos Hotel. The hotel applies a fee of 20USD per animal and per night. At check-in, a security deposit is payable through an open voucher in the amount of USD150
Children older than 7 years will be considered as adults. Cribs must be requested directly at the hotel, at no extra cost. If there are no cribs available, infants must share bed with their parents.
The hotel will not use the reservation data for any purpose other than fulfilling your reservation and will need your specific consent to use it for any other purpose. The reservation data will be destroyed, anonymized and/or deleted once your reservation has been fulfilled and all payment and administrative matters have been completed.
All guests are committed to good behavior and good manners during their stay. The Hotel reserves the right to evict without prior notice any guest whose behavior or conduct affects other guests, the staff or the integrity of the property.
If an electronic invoice is required, it will be issued after check out, having provided the data at the reception and this invoice will be issued via email. Billing does not apply to payments through third parties.
BYBLOS RESORT & CASINO is exempted for the liability for failure to execute arrangements specified here indirectly or indirectly caused by or in consequence of any conditions beyond human control, or government unrest. However, option to rebook is subject to the discretion of the hotel, as well as availability of rooms covered by the dates of projected visit.
If there are problems with receiving the room or if the guest staying in the room notices an error or fault in the Hotel service, an error or deficiency in the equipment and condition of the hotel rooms, they must immediately report it to the Hotel so that Byblos Hotel can repair the error. The reporting shall be made by calling the front desk. Byblos Hotel is not liable for compensation of errors or deficiencies that have not been appropriately reported during the accommodation.
