Terms of Booking & Booking Deposit

By placing a booking with us (the property owner/their representative) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners. You will be charged the total price of a reservation if any of the following terms are not followed.

Booking Process

To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 18 years of age. Themaximum number of staying guests per room is two (2) adults and one (1) child(see below for our Children Policy). Where the person making the booking isdifferent to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making thebooking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages asset-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed touse the property and its facilities. Any third party visitors are only allowedaccess at our express permission. To secure any booking we require a deposit tobe paid in advance, this deposit amount is 50% of the total full stay amount.Deposit payments must be 'cleared funds' before a booking can be confirmed.Deposits are only refundable under the conditions set-out here within.Paymentscan be made online/over the phone using debit/credit card as well as by digitalbank transfer or cash deposit. Any charges raised against us by our banks forhandling dishonored bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed bythe lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so. The full balanceof your stay is due at check in.

Number of Guests

The maximum number of guests we can accommodate in a room is two (2) adults andone (1) child (see below for our Children Policy). If your party is larger thanthis, you will need to book additional rooms.

Children Policy

Children of all ages are allowed in Driftwood. The maximum occupancy in ourrooms is three (3) persons, with a maximum of two (2) adults. Rates for children are the following:

• 0 to 13 years: 300,000 per night.
• over 13 years old are considered adults.
  

14 years and older are considered adults; therefore adult rates and occupancy limits apply (no more than 2 adults per room). Children under 14 cannot stay i na room without direct and constant adult supervision. No additional bedding is provided. Rates for children do not include breakfast. When adding children to your booking, you cannot exceed 3 guests per room. If you exceed the occupancy limits, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

Courtesy rules

All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests,neighbours and the owners at all times. Common areas are available for use onlybetween 7:00am and 11:00pm.

Check-in & Check-out

Guests must check-in and check-out by the times stated below

• Check-in by: 13:00pm and before 20:00pm on day of arrival
• Check-out by: 11:00am on day of departure

Not respecting these times will incur in one extra night cost.

Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-Arrival Conditions

Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible.Deposits already paid are only returned in accordance with the followingconditions:

• Cancellation made 8 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full deposit refund
• Cancellation made 7 days or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of deposit due

Non-arrival guests, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whateverreason forfeit their deposit paid and the full amount of the booking will bedue. It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriateholiday/cancellation insurance where required. In the rare event we need tocancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable forcircumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to therefund of any payment already made. If the cancellation of the reservationhappens because of not respecting this agreement, you will be charged the totalprice of the reservation (deposit and full amount paid or due).

WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy

Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to theInternet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and userusage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all ourguests.The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as accessto the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, video / music / mediastreaming, remote work, online meetings. It is not intended or ideally suitedfor heavy media streaming, online gaming, and extensive downloads / uploads.Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity isprohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

Damages & Lost Property

We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through thecourse of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages,spillages, stains, fire damage, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings.Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order tominimize damage and associated costs. Lost keys will incur a replacement chargeof 300.000IDR per key lost. Any lost property, if discovered and found, leftbehind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 week. While wewill make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners, we acceptno responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure theyhave all their belongings before checking-out. All hotel property must remain onthe premises. Any property taken from the premises will be considered lost andthe replacement cost will be covered by the lead guest.

Food and drinks

It is forbidden to eat or store food inside the rooms. There are special diningareas in the restaurant, balconies and around the pool. It is forbidden tocook/prepare food inside our resort. It is forbidden to bring drinks from theoutside. Drinks are available in the minibar in your room and the bar. Theminibar in the room is for Driftwood Drinks only. Please notify staff of itemsconsumed when checking out.

Breakfast

Reservations with breakfast included are for a maximum of two (2) registered sleeping guests. Children's rates do not include breakfast. Breakfast is available from 8am to 10.30am. Guests that have not made a reservation with breakfast included can order breakfast from the menu at an additional cost. The “breakfast included” rate is a room rate, the cancellation of this rate will be considered as the cancellation of a reservation or booking accompanied by its canceling policies explained above.

Smoking

Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, e-cigarettes, e-liquids, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is only allowed in designated areas with ashtrays throughout the accommodation grounds. It isstrictly forbidden to smoke inside the rooms or the rooms toilets. Any damagecaused by the act of smoking will be charged to the lead guest.

Pets

We do not accept pets throughout the accommodation.

Parking

Where on-site parking is provided guests accept that they park their vehicles attheir own risk.

Accessibility Statement

At the moment we unfortunately do not provide accessibility for specialneeds.

Your Personal Details & Privacy

We are required to keep a register of guests over the age of 18 who stay withus. This includes full names and nationality and passport or ID numbers, placeof issue, details of next destination. This is in accordance with the IndonesianImmigration Records Order. These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months andin accordance with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and the GDPR (General DataProtection Regulation).

Our Right To Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund orreimbursement if any of the terms of these conditions are breached.
