Terms and Conditions
We strive to provide our guests with an exceptionally clean, safe, and friendlyresort experience. The following Policy/House Rules have been establishedbased on industry standards, management and operational procedures. These Policy/House Rules are considered a part of our reservationagreement with you. As our resort guest, by reading and signing yourresort registration you are agreeing to abide by all of our Policy/HouseRules, terms and conditions, and procedures. These Policy/HouseRules are presented hereto help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and toensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between Stanton CreekCabins and the guest. Our Policy/House Rules are subject tochange from time to time, so please be sure to read all terms carefully.
GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS: All reservations must be guaranteed with avalid major credit card. Guests must be 18 years of age and older. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. We donot charge your credit card at the time you make your reservations. Yourcredit card guarantees your reservations. Please make sure to receive areservation confirmation number when you make a reservation. Reservationsmust be cancelled Thirty days (30 days), hotel time, prior to your arrivaldate, in order to avoid a one (1) room night, plus tax cancellation fee. Reservations will be held until 11:00AM the morning following your scheduledarrival date. If you have not checked in by that time, a NO-SHOW chargeof one room night, plus tax will be charged to your credit card and the balanceof your reservations will be cancelled. Stanton Creek Cabins is notresponsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes.

EARLY CHECK-IN / PRE-REGISTRATION: Early check-in is offered based onavailability. If you require a guaranteed check-in for arrival prior to4:00PM then Pre-Registration and payment may be required. Please contactFront Desk staff directly to make reservations and complete a credit cardauthorization form prior to your arrival (406)888-5040.
CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: Guests must be at least 18 years of age tocheck in at Stanton Creek Cabins. In the interests of security and toprevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing theirvalid government issued photo identification (State driver’s license, passport,etc.) at check-in. A valid, signed, and pre-approved credit card in thename of the guest registration is also required. It is yourresponsibility to fully understand the manner in which your bank processespre-authorizations and charges to your credit/debit card. Some banks holdpending authorizations for up to 30 business days.
PRE-AUTHORIZATION AT CHECK-IN: We require pre-authorization of creditcards/debit cards at check-in. A pre-authorization is a temporary hold ofa specific amount of your available credit limit balance placed on yourcredit/debit card for the full amount of your intended stay, plus tax. All credit/debit cards are pre-authorized at check-in. Pre-authorizationis not a charge to your account, it is a hold on those funds. Once youractual charge is posted at check-out it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 30days for the original pre-authorization to be removed by your bank. Generally, most banks release the hold within 3-5 days. It is yourresponsibility to be aware of how your bank handles all of yourtransactions, including pre-authorizations. We are unable toremove pre-authorizations directly through our resort and reservation system.
GUEST REGISTRATION: We require valid contact informationfrom the guest making the reservations including first and last name,residential address, phone number, and signature. The names of all guestsoccupying the room must be registered (ARM 37.111.130). Informationregarding your license plate/car description is also gathered at check-in forsecurity.
CHECK-OUT TIME: Room rental period expires at11:00AM. Additional day charge, plus tax may apply for late checkout.
CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE: Check-out time is 11:00AM, please check-outwith Front Desk so that housekeeping may begin cleaning your room as soon aspossible for the next guest(s) arriving. If you require a latercheck-out, please contact Front Desk prior to the day of your departure and wewill do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply for latecheck-out.
EARLY DEPARTURE: Guests who check out of the hotel after11:00AM and prior to their scheduled departure date are subject to an earlydeparture fee of one night, plus tax.
SPECIAL REQUESTS: We will make every effort to honor specialrequests upon your arrival. All special requests are noted onreservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the abilityto accommodate any of these requests cannot be guaranteed in advance.
ADA/HANDICAPPED ROOMS: ADA compliant guest rooms may be availableand should be reserved in advanced; please contact the hotel directly to checkavailability (406)888-5040.
PAYMENT: All reservations and registration must be guaranteed with avalid major credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express,and Discover Card. Pursuant to credit card agreements, credit cards arenot valid unless signed by the cardholder. Credit cards must be signed.Cash (USD) payment is welcomed with a signed and pre-authorized creditcard. All guests are required to present a valid major credit card andgovernment issued photo identification even if guests are planning on paying incash upon check-out. Checks and foreign currency are not accepted.
CHECKS AND CHECK CASHING: Unfortunately, we do not accept checks andwe do not provide any form of check cashing services.
DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD HOLDERS: Your credit card is not validunless signed. We will refuse an unsigned card.Your Debit or Credit Cardwill be pre-authorized at check-in for the full amount of your stay. Thepre-authorization will HOLD the funds until check-out, atwhich time the amount actually incurred during your stay will be charged. If you change your method of payment at check-out or change the length of yourstay, your bank may not post the changes to your accountimmediately. Stanton Creek Cabins has no control over thepolicies of your bank and will not be held liable for any “insufficientfunds” penalties or any other resulting fees or charges. It is yourresponsibility to fully understand the manner in which your bank processespre-authorizations and charges to your debit or credit card. Some bankshold pending authorizations for up to 30 days.
DEPOSITS AND GUARANTEES: There is no deposit required to make anindividual room reservation. However, a major credit card is required atthe time of booking to guarantee the room and secure the reservation period.
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT FOR GUESTS BY PRIVATETHIRD PARTIES: Generally, thirdparty payment is not permitted. In the case of paying for a family memberif you will not be physically present at the hotel, we require prior completionand approval of a Credit Card Authorization form including a copy of your driver’slicense and the front and back of your signed credit card. You will beresponsible for any and all damages and loss. We reserve the right torefuse reservation at any time for any reason.
TAX EXEMPT GUESTS: Guests with GSA payment cards will be taxedor exempt in accordance to their individual card status. If tax exemptstatus cannot be verified at check-in you will be charged a lodging tax untilverification is made.
RATES: All rates are quoted in United States currency, plustax. Rates may increase without notice. Rates as advertised on the StantonCreek Cabins website or any other website or promotional material are subjectto change at any time and may increase or decrease at the hotel’s discretion.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: Stanton Creek Cabins is privatelyowned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone forany reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws. Stanton CreekCabins has a zero-tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuseservice or accommodation in our hotel or may remove a person, without refund,who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established bythe State of Montana and the owners for the operation and management of thehotel. Stanton Creek Cabins will refuse service or evict a guest:for refusal or failure to pay for accommodations, is under the influence ofalcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderlyfashion as to disturb the peace of other guests or is not in compliance withstate liquor laws; acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace ofother guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times,seeks to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the hotel:an unlawfully possessed firearm; or something, including an explosive orhazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may bedangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm tohotel property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximumallowable occupancy of room, refuses to abide by the reasonable standards orpolicies established by Stanton Creek Cabins for the operation andmanagement of our resort (MCA 70-6-511,70-5-512,70-6-513, 70-6-514).
QUIET HOURS: 11:00PM-8:00AM (MST)*If you have a concern of a disruptive guest,please contact Front Desk staff immediately. Televisions, voices, orother devices must always be kept at a respectful volume level. Doorsshould be opened and closed quietly. No congregating or running in commonareas during quiet hours.
VISITORS: No visitors after 12:00AM (MST), visitors must notify FrontDesk upon their arrival. Visitors must always be accompanied by theregistered guest. Visitors are not allowed to use guest amenitiesincluding the Wi-Fi services offered in the Lobby/Restaurant/Bar. As aregistered guest, you are responsible for your visitor at all times.
DISCOUNTS: We do not offer discounted room rates forparticipation or employment in organizations such as AAA, AARP, governmentemployees, etc.
CANCELLATION: Stanton Creek Cabins is not responsible for weatherconditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. Reservations must becancelled thirty days (30 days) hotel time, prior to your arrival date, inorder to avoid a non-refundable one (1) night full room cancellation fee. Ifreservations are cancelled less than 30 days before the arrival date, yourcredit card may be charged the full room charge plus taxes. If you are stayingmore than one (1) night, only the first night and taxes will be charged. Ifyou cancel any reservation, you must obtain and save thecancellation number for your records.
NO-SHOW CHARGES: Failure to check in on the scheduledarrival date for a reservation guaranteed with a credit card will resultin a No-Show fee being charged to your credit card. You will only becharged the first night, one (1) night’s full room rate plus taxes and thebalance of the reservation will be cancelled.
DO-NOT DISTURB AND ACCESS TO ROOMS: To provide all of our guests with anexceptionally clean and safe resort experience, we provide dailyhousekeeping. Our Housekeeping Staff will honor the “Do-Not Disturb” doorhanger once during a twelve-hour period indicating that theroom is occupied. The Housekeeping Staff is required to enter the room atsubsequent times to clean the room, check for safety, and verify the conditionof the room. Management reserves the right to enter a room with a knownstatus of “Do-Not Disturb” for reasonable purposes, such as an emergency,housekeeping, maintenance, verify that the room, its furnishings, andmechanical equipment are intact, or to address or prevent a violation of ourHotel Policy/House Rules. In the event of suspected illegal activity,management reserves the right to summon law enforcement to aid ineviction. The right to privacy ends when a Resort Policy/House Rule isbroken. Law enforcement will be granted immediate access to hotelproperty and rooms of evicted guests.
CHILDREN: Well behaved children of all ages are welcomed. Childrenaged 12 and under stay for free when sharing a room with one or more payingadult(s), using existing bedding. As the parents, guardians, orchaperones of children you are personally and legally responsible for and mustalways supervise them (MCA 70.6.514). For safety reasons, please do notleave children unattended in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotelproperty unsupervised. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed inthe Restaurant/Bar area without being accompanied and supervised by theirparent/guardian/chaperone.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Room occupancy requirements are based onfire code/fire safety restrictions, and are stated in the description of yourroom when booking as well as when you check-in at Stanton Creek Cabins. If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rentanother guest-room for proper accommodations or vacate the hotel.
ROOM KEYS: Room keys are issued only to the registered guest(s). No room keys will be issued to youth under 18 at any time. I.D. isrequired if you have lost your key and require a duplicate. Please returnroom keys to Front Desk at Check-out.
HOUSEKEEPING/ROOM INSPECTION: Housekeeping is provided daily between thehours of 9:00AM-5:00PM. This is a 100% NON-SMOKING resort, includingmedical marijuana. Rooms are cleaned and inspected daily and a detailedlog is maintained on each room and linen. Rooms are rented to guests inappropriate condition without any prohibited odor. Housekeeping and FrontDesk staff are trained and skilled in identifying the odors from prohibiteditems. If our investigation concludes that you have smoked in your room,cooked, or brought a prohibited item into our facility, you will be fined, andevicted without any refund.
LINEN CHANGING: Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying multiples nights, bed linen is changed on a rotationschedule. Used towels are exchanged for fresh towels daily. IfHousekeeping is unable to change a bed due to personal items left on a bed, anote will be left. Housekeeping will be happy to change your bed linensand make your beds each day if all personal items are removed. Please contactour Front Desk staff if you have any additional questions or concerns.
LOST & FOUND POLICY: Stanton Creek Cabins assumes noliability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables orbelongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of valueto you, please call us immediately (406)888-5040 and we will try to assist youin locating your lost item. We are unable to provide a guarantee ofreturning any personal belongings left behind.
FOUND ITEMS: Stanton Creek Cabins is not responsible for any item leftbehind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishableitems, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping willbe collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by theowner for up to fourteen (14) days. Records of Lost & Found items areretained for five years. Reasonable effort will be made to notify theguest that an item has found. Perishable items, underwear, andmiscellaneous toiletries are discarded.
RETURN: We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you byUnited States Postal Service. Unfortunately, we do not offer UPS or FEDEX deliveries for items needing to be returned to guests after check-out. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage, plus a $10.00 handlingfee. A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Stanton Creek Cabinsis not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by theUnited States Postal Service. Please contact the USPS Customer ServiceDepartment at 1-800-275-8777.
UNCLAIMED ITEMS/NO CONTACT: Lost & Found items are held for fourteen (14) days while weattempt to contact the guest. If guest contact information is incorrector cell phone mailbox is full and we are unable to contact the guest during thefourteen (14) day holding period, the unclaimed item(s) are thrown away, givento local organizations, or disposed of accordingly by Stanton Creek Cabins.
ALCOHOL POLICY: Registered guests of legal age who choose to bring their ownalcoholic beverages must consume those in their room. Alcohol is notallowed in public areas such as the lobby, common areas, etc. Alcoholconsumed during special events served by a licensed caterer with permit toserve/sale alcohol is restricted to those 21 years old or older (valid photo identificationrequired) and can only be consumed at that event venue (MCA 70-6-513, MCA27-1-710, MCA 16-3-105, MCA16-4-204).
FIREARMS AND WEAPONS: The safety and security of our guests andstaff is extremely important to us. Our Firearms and Weapons Policy isdesigned for the protection of our guests, vendors, staff, and owners, andpertains to the presence of firearms and weapons on hotel premises. StantonCreek Cabins know that guests and vendors may legally possess firearms orweapons for a variety of legitimate purposes. This policy has beendeveloped to create a safe environment by providing appropriate guidance overthe custody of firearms and weapons on our premises. Stanton Creek Cabinsis private property. Guests, who are lawfully permitted to possess afirearm or weapon, may bring such onto our hotel premises for storage purposesonly, with the understanding that they are personally responsible forfollowing: 1. Guests must abide by all Federal, State, andlocal laws.2. Firearm and weapons must be appropriatelyregistered.3. Firearms must be unloaded4. No cleaning of firearms is permitted on hotelpremises.5. Firearms and weapons must be safeguarded andsecured in either a locked, hard sided firearm container or a soft gun caseprovided by the guest at all times and clearly labeled with their name andcontact information.6. No firearms or other weapons in the breakfastarea.7. Damages caused by arrowheads will be chargedaccordingly, please be careful. Guests and vendors who fail to abide by ourpolicy maybe asked to leave the hotel premises, are subject to trespass and maybe subject to further legal action. Exempted from this policy are lawenforcement officers and designated military personnel who are on-duty andrequired to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. Noexemption to this policy is allowed for private persons, even those licensedand permitted to carry a firearm openly or concealed under local, state, orfederal law, are exempt from this policy. It is our policy to promptlyturn over any firearms left on the property to the Flathead County Sheriff'sOffice if we are unable to contact the owner. BICYCLES / HOVERBOARDS / ROLLER BLADES: Bicycles, Hover boards, and roller blades are not permitted inguest rooms. Depending on available space, Front Desk staff will be happyto secure these items in our Lobby or Storage Room. We assume noliability for theft, loss, and/or damage, and you waive any and all suchliability.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OR FIRE: Please notify Front Desk in the event of afire or other emergency, and they will contact proper channels to address theissue for resolution.
NO IN-ROOM PARTY: Stanton Creek Cabins enforces a “NoIn-Room Party” Policy to ensure we can protect the resort and our guests at alltimes. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed ortolerated on the premises. In the event of a disturbance, one politerequest (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request isnot followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without refund. Registered guest(s) is responsible for all persons visiting. Non-Registered visitors are only permitted until 12:00AM. If found withmore people not listed on the Guest Registration Form after 12:00AM your staywill be considered a party. You will be ordered to vacate the premiseswithout refund and may be charged an additional Guest Compensation DisturbanceFee.
FREE WiFi ACCESS: Stanton Creek Cabins is a campgroundbased getaway, and has access to WiFi for free to all of our registeredguests. Please keep in mind, with the location of our resort theconnection is not guaranteed to be typical WiFi most are used to. Theresort WiFi access code is subject to change without notice. WiFi signalsare subject to change without notice depending on the room’s location, thestatus of our WiFi-equipment, and interference from other wireless signals. Stanton Creek Cabins assumes no liability for guest use.
ENFORCEMENT: All staff is trained and required torespond to potential violations of our Resort Policy/House Rules. Guestswho refuse to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established byStanton Creek Cabins for safety of all guests, staff, owners, property,and the operation and management of the resort will be evicted, with no refund(MCA 70-6-511). In addition to the room charge, a minimum $300.00cleaning fee per room will be charged for infraction(s) of our ResortPolicy/House Rules.

ILLNESS AND EPIDEMICS: Stanton Creek Cabins reserves theright to refuse accommodations to a guest arriving with a contagiousdisease. In cases where sickness occurs during the stay, please notifythe Front Desk staff. In the case of serious sickness, you may berequested to receive appropriate healthcare from the nearest healthcarefacility. During epidemics we are entitled to employ precautionarymeasures within our judgment or as required by local authorities. We maycharge you a room cleaning fee as we deem appropriate under the circumstances.
INFESTATION: The cleanliness of our rooms is extremelyimportant to our guests. If you bring any infestation into your room oronto our hotel premises, we may charge you for any and all costs and expenses,including immediate or urgent response requirements and loss of room revenue,that we deem necessary to address the infestation.
PARKING AT OWN RISK: All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registrationat check-in. Parking for registered guest(s) is free. All vehiclesare parked at the risk of the owner. Stanton Creek Cabins shall notassume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contentswhile operated or parked on the resort property. If a vehicle is left inthe property parking lot after the guest has departed without the writtenconsent of the property, Stanton Creek Cabins reserves the right to havethe vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. No vehicle repairs permitted onresort premises.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTY: You are liable for any damage caused(whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s),resort’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whetheror not staying at the resort during your stay. Stanton CreekCabins reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit carddetails as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit /debit cardsuch amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate ormake good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Stanton CreekCabins as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come tolight after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorizeus to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room orthe Resort property during your stay, including and without limitation for allproperty damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guestcompensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damageinternally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, and thereforewill make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to aminimum.
DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT: Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around,incomplete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deepcleaning fee, administration fee and/or third-party fees.
DAMAGE TO ROOM: Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing andequipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc.will be charge at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping andhandling charges. Any damage to resort property, whether accidental orwillful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particularroom. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will becharged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases,criminal charges will be pursued.
DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND BEDDING: Damage to mattresses and linen including;towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use ofbody oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the specialcleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
DAMAGE OR TAMPERING WITH FIRE DETECTIONSYSTEMS/FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: Stanton Creek Cabins reserves the right to take actionagainst any guest or visitor found to have tampered or interfered with anydetection equipment throughout the resort, including detector heads in publicareas, guest rooms, and fire extinguishers. Guests or visitors found tohave tampered with any fire detection or fire-fighting equipment will becharged with any costs incurred by the resort due to their actions and will beevicted from the resort. Depending on the severity of the guest actions,law enforcement may become involved at the resort’s discretion. Shouldthe fact that fire-fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with cometo light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorizeus to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room orthe Resort property during your stay, including and without limitation for allproperty damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guestcompensation, etc.
CHANGES OR MODIFICATION TO THE HOTEL POLICY/HOUSERULES: Stanton CreekCabins reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, vary or add tothese Resort Policies/House Rules or the arrangements and content featured onour Resort website at any time without prior notice. Please check ourwebsite regularly for updates to Resort Policy/House Rules. Anymodification to these Resort Policy/House Rules that occurs before yourdeparture is considered a part of your reservation agreement with us. A copyof these Resort Policy/House Rules is located on our website, and availablefrom Front Desk staff upon request.
