Booking Deposit: A non-refundable booking deposit of 30% of the total rental cost of the property is required at the point of booking. At least 7 days’ notice needs to be given if you wish to reschedule your stay. A confirmation email is sent to you.
Payment Balance: Full payment of Cottage rental must be made to us 2weeks prior to the rental commencement date. All bookings are subject to availability. In the unlikely event of us been unable to allocate you the Cottage that you booked, you will be given the options of either accepting an offer of an alternative Cottage
Changes to your Booking: In the event of you wishing to make a change to your booking, please contact k2cottages@k2alpacas.ie. If we facilitate you in any such change, your right to a subsequent refund under our cancellation terms is no longer. K2Cottages reserve the right to amend prices quoted on the website due to errors or omissions, or changes in the VAT rate. Every effort is made to ensure that the Cottage description contained in current material is correct
Cancellation by Customer: In the event that you wish to cancel your Cottage reservation, the booking deposit is withheld except where a cancellation is made within 24 hours of making the booking. In such a case we will refund all monies paid. 
8 - 4 weeks before date of arrival: 50% of the total booking value is withheld. 4 - 2 weeks before date of arrival:, 75% of the total booking value is withheld. Less than 2 weeks before arrival date: 100% of the total booking value. 
Guests who book using a third-party channel such as Air BnB are advised to check with the relevant third party for information on the third party’s policies

Guest Information 
Arrival & Departure Time: Possession of cottage must be taken between 16.00hrs and 20.00hrs and the cottage vacated by 10.00am on day of departure. Late Checkout is not available. Check In details shall be forwarded to you on the morning of your arrival date
Accommodation Capacity: For Insurance reasons, the total number of clients staying in each Cottage must not exceed the maximum capacity.
Bringing your Pet on Holiday: We are sorry to say that pets especially dogs are NOT allowed under any circumstances at the cottages. The farm homes 90 alpacas and alpacas see dogs as a natural predator, no matter how friendly and well behaved your family pet may be. Guests who arrive to the cottages with a pet will be asked to remove the pet from the farm.
Bed Linen & Towels: Bed linen & Towels are supplied free of charge in all our properties. 
Travel Cots: Travel Cots are available but must be requested at the time of the booking. Cot linen is not provided. Charges apply
Cottage: The cottage must be left as it is found, left in a clean and tidy condition and the cost of repairs to or the replacement of property will be the responsibility of the guest/s.
Persons with Disabilities: Please let us know if you or any other guests may have a disability/condition which may be relevant. Some cottages do have stairs and external steps, we can provide a ramp if needs be.

Directions
Our address is: K2 Cottages at K2Alpacas, Callowhill Upper, Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow A63 DX08.Google Maps, SatNavs or Apple Maps can take you on unsafe roads. Best directions are: 
Heading South from Dublin on M11/N11 take Exit 12, signposted Newtownmounkennedy. Follow directions to Newtownmountkennedy. Turn right at Church (The Church will be on your right). Follow road, go straight through roundabout, past GAA pitches on right ; continue up the hill for 4.5 km. Continue to top of hill, opposite a left-hand turn signpost, is a small cul-de-sac (lane). Turn right here to arrive at our gate.  
Heading North towards Dublin on M11/N11, take Exit 16 R772 for Ashford and follow road into village. Use your SatNav from here. After you cross over the bridge, take a left at the roundabout. Follow this round for 6.5km, take a right at Ballyduff Cross, signposted for Newtownmountkennedy L1051. Approx 2km just after a Y in the road you will see a left turn into a lane. Turn Left this will bring you to our gate. (Our Eircode A63 DX08 will take you on the correct route once you follow our directions above). 

Gate Entrance: Open gate and enter, close gate securely after you enter please keep the gate closed at all times as our alpacas do like to go for a walk. Follow signs to carpark.  

Onsite Parking 
*Ample parking is available on site at the Farm. All vehicles must be parked in our Car Park. 
*The Car Park is located 100metres from the cottages.
*You can drive up to your cottage to drop off / pick up but please, return your car to the car park
*The road around the cottages is for pedestrian and emergency use only please do not block or park.
*The Farm Yard must also be kept clear at all times as we are a working farm and tractors; machinery are in use. 

Alpaca Treks and Events The alpaca farm runs our successful K2Alpaca Trek & Prosecco Experience and Meet and Greet Sessions in the summer months and private group interactive sessions. As a guest, you are more than welcome to book into our Alpaca Trek experience whilst staying at the cottages. Booking slots can be extremely busy and can book out up to 3 weeks in advance so prior booking is essential. We are an operating alpaca farm, you are welcome to join us at feeding times (usually around 4.30pm) to get up close and meet our alpacas. We ask that you DO NOT feed our alpacas at any other times. 

Additional Information 
Entering the Cottage: The proprietors, may visit your holiday home to inspect the property or carry out any repairs or maintenance when necessary. We have the right to enter the property if it is felt that the occupants of the property are causing a nuisance to other neighbouring properties.
Force Majeure: If as a consequence of “Force Majeure”, K2Cottages is forced to curtail, alter or cancel a holiday, we will allow you to carry forward amounts paid for Accommodation to another holiday taken within 12 months of your booked holiday. However, the client shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise arising because of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation of the holiday. In these terms and conditions the term Force Majeure shall mean Acts of God, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire, epidemics, health risks, destruction or damage to holiday accommodation, water or electricity supply issues, riots, acts of civil war, civil commotion, requisition of property, insolvency or default of any provider of the accommodation, delays due to construction, or any other reason or event which K2Cottages acting as Agents even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall. 
Right to Decline: K2Cottages reserves the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance, alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of the booking.
Behaviour:K2Cottages reserves the right to decline and/or terminate a booking if its believes the nature or purpose of the booking proposed by the Guests seeking to occupy a property either prior to or during a holiday is inconsistent and not suited to the nature and of location of the property and may be inconsistent with the safety, peaceful enjoyment or well-being of other occupants in nearby properties.
Liability: K2Cottages, its employees or agents shall not be liable for any damages, loss, or personal injury which may be sustained by persons or property at any time during the reserved stay. It is strongly recommended that clients take out their own holiday insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation charges. Complaints: In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the Accommodation Manager immediately. Failure to register a complaint while on site will invalidate a future claim.
