Cancellation Policy is 30 days notice for a refund minus $50 fee, for two night stays
3 or more nights require 45 days notice for a refund minus the $50 fee
A $50 fee is charged for all cancellations or change of dates
Changing dates within the cancellation dates is considered a cancellation

Pets, DOGS ONLY, allowed at Vine Maple House, Squirrel Run, Mountain Peek or Little Elk must be registered before your stay.
No pets at Indian Henry’s, Little Tahoma, Huckleberry, Elk Horn or Hudson Bay Chalet. PETS: DOGS Allowed with a $25 per pet fee,
LIMIT OF 2 DOGS. NO CATS OR OTHER PETS ALLOWED.
1. You must clean up after your pet.
2. Keep them off of furniture and all bedding.
3. Bring your own blankets for your pet if you allow them to be on bedding and furniture.
4. Extra fees will be charged if we have to clean up after your pet.
5. Please email Tammi@rainiercottages.com to tell me about your pet after you book. I will then add on the $25 fee to your booking.
Special Notes:
1. Please stay off hot tub covers as they can be easily damaged
2. We only supply 10 pieces of firewood. Beyond that you need to bring your own, or purchase more firewood in town.
The only exception to this is a wood stove during a power outage. You may of course use wood to keep warm. If the power is on the heat can be used, and the wood stove is just for ambiance.
Payment:Payment is due when you make your reservation.
Damage Deposit : We require a hold of a $250damage deposit, which will be cleared as soon as our housekeeping staff reports the cottage to be in good condition.*
Check Out Checkout is at 11am. Please check out promptly at 11am, so that our housekeepers have time to prepare the cottage for the arriving guests.
Guests who leave after 11:30 am will be billed a $50 fee. Guests departing after 12pm, will be charged for an extra night stay.
Departure Instructions:
1. Dishes should be cleaned. Leaving the dishwasher running is fine.
2. Please start a load of towels only in the wash at cabin with laundry.
3. Cabin should be tidy, garbage picked up, toys and games put away.
4. Lock all the doors and windows.
5. Please leave the heat set to 50 degrees.Important:Do NOT turn all the heat off in the winter, as the pipes can freeze.
In conditions below freezing you should leave the water dripping in sinks (just barely) to keep pipes from freezing. See further instructions at each cabin.
Extra Guests: 4guests are included in the nightly cost of the cottage at our larger cabins, 2guests at our one bedroom cabins VINE MAPLE AND LITTLE ELK. Only 2 guests total allowed at Elk Horn.
If you will behaving extra guests please let us know at the time you make your reservation.
Each extra registered guest is $20/night. Each extra guest who is not registered before your stay will be billed at$40/night.
We reserve the right to check on our guest to ensure that our policies are being respected.
Cancellations: 30days advance notice for refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee.Rescheduling/Changing dates are considered a cancellation if dates do not re–rent inside the cancellation policy.
We will make every effort to re-rent and refund money.All cancellations must be confirmed with a cancellation number.

Sorry no refunds for early departures, adverse road or weather conditions, power outages, electrical or appliance failures(including hot tubs), or other inconveniences that are out of our control.
The cabins are on well-maintained county roads. You usually won’t need 4 wheel-drive to access cabins, roads are flat, plowed daily, and easy to access. However,
Chains or 4 wheel drive are often required in the winter months to access Mt. Rainier National Park. Chains can be rented in Ashford at Whittaker Mountaineering.

The Cottages, and their owners from any liability whatsoever arising from loss, damage, or personal injury of any severity due to theft or accident while on the premises or in the vicinity of rented lodging.
Privacy Policy: We will never sell or trade any personal information of any customer. On Site Cameras in every driveway for your safety and ours.
**We reserve the right to charge a damage, cleaning, and smoking deposit subject to the amount stated above on any cottage, anytime.

***No smoking inside the cabins. This means: NO cigarettes, no cigars, no marijuana, no smoking of any kind. If you smoke inside a cabin it is an automatic loss of your $250 deposit.
You may smoke out of doors as long as ALL ashes and butts are disposed of in an outdoor garbage can. Do not liter ashes and butts.
