Check In
You will receive a text prior to check-in, giving you a 4-digit code that can be used to access your room throughout your stay. In most cases, check-in is contactless, but feel free to stop into the lobby and say hello during staffed hours (9:00am - 6:00pm daily). The minimum check-in age is 21.
 
Check Out
Check-out is also contactless. When you are ready to check out, enter 1010 then the check mark on your door’s smart lock.

Terms and Conditions
Please review the complete terms, conditions, and notices set forth below. Your use of this southwindstay.com web site or your redemption or purchase of travel components constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices. 

Deposit and Payment
Upon booking, a guest's credit card is pre-authorized in the amount of 100% of their total stay.  The total amount for your stay is then charged the week of check-in, and a pre-authorization hold for $150 may be placed on your card to cover incidentals or damages.  This property accepts credit cards; cash is not accepted.

The credit card on file may be charged for excessive damages to the room and its contents (beyond normal expected wear and tear) and/or theft of items belonging to the motel (including but not limited to: hair dryer, hand soap bottle, shampoo/body wash bottle, conditioner bottle, towels, rugs, clipboard, iron, ironing board, hangers, decorative items, clock, glass water bottle, glass coffee jar, kettle, chemex coffee maker, tray, drinking glasses, mugs, dishes, pillows, bed linens, duvet, wool blanket, lamp, sound machine, remote controls, television, furniture, display merchandise in lobby.) 

Cancellation Policy
Due to being a small and independent hotel, our cancellation policy is more strict than some chain hotels. Guests may cancel only up to 7 days prior to check in. We do not allow refunds for cancellations made 7 days or less prior to check-in. 

Management Hours
A local team manages this property. The property is staffed from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily, and we are available via phone and text after hours for emergencies. 

Safety
Safety features at this property include carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and security cameras.  This property advises that enhanced cleaning and guest safety measures are currently in place. Disinfectant is used to clean the property, and personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves, will be available to guests.

Pets
Pets are not allowed except for one dog per reservation in the "Classic Queen" room, which is dog-friendly. There is a $15 pet fee to bring a dog.  If you intend to bring a dog, you must add the dog to your reservation at the time of booking or let us know ahead of your arrival. If you bring an unauthorized pet into a room, there will be a $150 fine.

Smoking
There is no smoking at this property. Where evidence of smoking exists in a room, guests will be charged a smoking fee of $150. 

Quiet Hours
Our building's quiet hours are from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am. We want everyone to have a restful sleep throughout their stay. Please respectfully keep noise to a minimum during these hours.

Housekeeping
Your room is carefully cleaned prior to your arrival. We do not enter your room for housekeeping services during your stay unless requested for a stay of 3 nights or more. If you need anything cleaned, refreshed, or replenished during your stay (such as fresh towels, more toilet paper, or trash removal), please call/text us.
