Coronavirus Update: We are taking extra steps
for cleaning and sanitation and are restricting the number of people in certain
common areas to follow social distancing guidelines. To protect the health and
safety of our staff and guests we also require everyone to wear face coverings
when around others while maintaining a 6' distance. We keep all sleeping rooms
vacant for a 24-hour period before we clean and rent them out again.
Our cafe is currently open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We serve our bagel breakfast with coffee, tea or juice from 7am - 11am when the cafe is open, and a "take-out" bagel breakfast from 9am - 11am Monday through Thursday. We are not offering any social events until further notice.
In 1998, we opened our small 36 bed hostel. Over the years,
we have grown from that original building, to a village of 6 buildings, all in
the same block. Each building has its own character and special features with
most built in the late 1800’s. You’ll find common areas, outdoor gardens and
courtyard, 2 kitchens to prepare your own meals, 32 private rooms, 160 dorm
beds in small dorms, and 2 apartments. In the spring of 2017, we completed
construction of our 5th building, designed and built from the ground up. Here
we added the final touch to our hostel, the Hostel Café.
