The standard booking price includes the following:

A check-out cleaning cost of 30 euros is added on top of each apartment or room booking.

Starting from 01/01/2023, according to the terms and conditions of Riga City Council rule number: RD-22-173-sn, a municipal fee for hosting tourists in Riga is automatically added to each booking. The fee rate for each night spent by a vacationer or tourist at the accommodation place is 1 euro, but no more than 10 euros for the total stay. The fee does not apply to the stay of tourists or vacationers who have not reached the age of 18.

One child under 12 years stays free of charge in a Family one-bedroom apartment. The maximum number of extra beds or baby cots in an apartment is 1. We do not provide extra beds or baby cots in Double rooms or Studio apartments. Any type of extra bed or child’s cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by RIGAAPARTMENT management.

A security deposit of 100 or 200 euros (100 euros per apartment/room with up to 6 guests; 200 euros per apartment with 6 guests or more) is required upon arrival. This is to cover any additional costs that might be occurred. The deposit can be provided ONLY by credit card at check-in time. The security deposit will be released by your credit card's issuing bank automatically within 3 business days after your check-out. Please note, it could take up to 21 days to be processed. The security deposit pre-authorization is not held by RIGAAPARTMENT.COM, as we do NOT charge your credit card; we only pre-authorized a certain amount. The security deposit will be fully refunded if the apartment/room is in good order and there are no breakages or damages to the apartment/room or Minibar usage. Any excessive cleaning costs will also be deducted from the security deposit.

Guests can arrange to check-in at Hotel any time after 3 PM. Our friendly receptionists will assist you during your check-in, inform you about our facilities and services, and explain any local rules and regulations as appropriate. The outstanding balance of the full apartment/room rental amount is payable on arrival at check-in time. 

Check-in cannot be completed until full payment and security deposit pre-authorization for the apartment/room have been received and approved. A key is provided at check-in time after the full rental amount has been settled. The cost of any key replacement will be deducted from the security deposit. During the check-in process, our receptionist will provide you with any information that may be required during your stay, such as the location of nearby shops, good places to eat, sights you may like to see, places to go at night, etc. Please always ask our receptionist for anything that would make your stay more enjoyable and convenient.

You can check-out anytime up to 11 AM by local time. Later check-out times may be requested, although we may not always be able to accommodate late changes and will depend on availability and how busy we are. 

A detailed inspection of the apartment/room is made after the check-out time, and we reserve the right to make charges for any damages or breakages found before the room is occupied again. The security deposit will be released by your credit card's issuing bank automatically within 3 business days after your check-out. Please be aware that bed linen and towels should be placed where they were originally found. The bed linen and towels are NOT a gift and should remain in the apartment/room.

After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive. If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check-out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans, and this can include relocating you to a similar apartment should it be necessary.


Cancellation Policy for “Free-cancellation rate”
• 30% of the total reservation price is charged 7 days before the arrival.
• The guest can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
• If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, 30% of the total reservation price will be charged and is non-refundable.
• If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are 50% refunded.
• In case of a “no-show” the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.

• 50% of the total reservation price will be charged right away after booking and is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy for “Loyal customer rate”
• Cancellation fee of 30 euros will be collected from the Security deposit preauthorization in case of reservation cancellation at any time and is non-refundable.
• No-show fee of 100 euros will be collected from the Security deposit preauthorization in case of a “no-show” and is non-refundable.

There is only one way in which we can acknowledge the cancellation of the guest's reservation: the guest MUST send a cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: reservation@rigaapartment.com. 

All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been canceled.

When you make a reservation, you are booking an apartment/room type (not a specific unit). Each apartment/room type includes similar units of similar size and equipment; however, interior design can vary. Reservations can only be taken and confirmed by making an advance payment of 100% of the full rental amount based on the chosen pricing options. This can be paid using a debit/credit card, PayPal, or a bank transfer. We will process your booking within 24 hours of receiving your request and payment details.

In all our short-stay apartments and rooms, smoking is not allowed. You will be asked to sign a document indicating your agreement to a 100 euro fine if ANY evidence of smoking is found in the apartment/room or in any of the building areas, such as window ledges, the lift, stairs, or the entrance area near the reception. Please note that we comply with the local health and safety guidelines and recommendations provided by the EEC on smoking in public places.

Immediate termination of the rental agreement is possible if:
• Subletting the property, you have rented (or giving it to other people)
• The number of people residing in the apartment/room should match the number confirmed in the booking. Accommodation for additional guests may be requested. An extra 10 euros per night for each additional guest will be charged. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation, without a refund, if an unconfirmed number of people stay overnight in the apartment/room. 
• RIGAAPARTMENT.COM does not allow any pets in the apartments/rooms. A 100 euro fine will be imposed if pets are accommodated. 
• Excessive noise is not allowed in the evening hours or at night. Apartments are located in a residential building in Riga city center. All our guests are asked to respect the property and privacy of the neighbors and to not make any excessive noise between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM. This rule is applied as per the Latvian Residential Buildings Law, so any late and loud partying is not permitted. 

RIGAAPARTMENT.COM is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal items on the hotel premises. 

During your stay, the apartment/room and all equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to RIGAAPARTMENT.COM staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the apartment/room. You (The Tenant) are financially responsible for any damage to the apartment/room. This includes losses caused by you (The Tenant) or a third party's negligent actions and behavior. A summary check of the apartment/room's condition is made soon after check-out and before another guest's arrival. 

The Tenant is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are beyond normal wear and tear. In this case, a detailed statement of damage along with an invoice for the repair or replacement cost will be sent by email. Any costs will be deducted from the security deposit immediately. Any costs will be claimed by return if they are greater than the security deposit or where the deposit has already been returned. Please note, the costs of cleaning beyond what would be expected after responsible usage of the apartment/room might be deducted from the security deposit. Please remember, entire apartments/rooms are fully NON-smoking! At the check-in time, you will be asked to sign a document indicating your agreement to a 100 euro fine if smoking takes place in the apartment/room.
