According to the CDC, it is recommended that guests participate in the following preventative procedures to stop the spread of COVID-19:
Maintain a distance of 6 feet from other guests when possible.
Wear cloth masks or other face covering when out in public.
Wash hands with soap and water for 2 minutes, or use hand sanitizer, frequently, and especially after touching surfaces of common areas.
Casa de Milagros is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment. So, in order to prevent the spread of COVD-19, the following preventative procedures are in place to help keep our guests safe:
The cleaning procedure includes:
Clean frequently touched surfaces such as tables, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, remote controls, phones, toilets, toilet flush handles, sink faucets, door handles, pens, and irons.
Wear disposable gloves and a cloth mask while cleaning each room.
Throw away single-use items left by guests.
Cancellations and Reservation Changes:
Free cancellation, with a full refund, 24 hours before your scheduled stay.
Animals:
There are animals on the property and the properties next door, who sometimes come to visit. While they are friendly, please refrain from interacting with them, or allowing them into the guest spaces.
Red: 2 year old, red-heeler. Casa de Milagros is Red’s home. He spends most of his time in the fenced-in backyard area. He is very friendly, and true to his heeler nature, loves to try and round up people and other animals. When he is out of the yard he may come say hello! He is enthusiastic but very friendly.
Cats: There are feral cats on the property. These cats are true barn cats and prefer to hang out by themselves than with any humans. If you see them, feel free to say hello, and maybe give them names, but since they are not used to humans touching them, resist the urge to pet them. They won't let you if you try, anyway.
Other animals: Since this is the country, you may see wildlife on the property. Deer, owls, armadillo, turkeys, and yes, snakes, spiders, and scorpions are some of the animals you may see. Poison ivy and poison oak might be located in wooded areas. Avoid touching these plants, as they can cause rash and sometimes allergic reactions. “Leaves of three, leave it be.”
Pets:
Pets are not allowed in our rentals in order to ensure the safety of other animals on the property and to help our casitas remain allergen free. Service dogs are allowed. Please make a note of a service dog coming to stay when making your reservation.
Pool:
The backyard behind the main house, which is fenced in and includes the pool area, is off-limits to guests of Casa de Milagros.
River:
There is river access on the property. Please enter and leave the river at your own risk, as there is no lifeguard on duty. Please do not leave any food or drinks down by the river, and dispose of trash in one of the trash cans located around the property. There is a trash can at the top of the river ramp, next to the deck / patio. Kayaks, intertubes, and other water toys are not on the property, but you can bring your own! Please do not leave any of these down by the river, for risk of them floating away. Always bring them to the top if the ramp when you are done using them.
Fire Pits and Grills:
We love to cozy up to a great fire and we hope you do too. But, please limit any fires to the fire pits located on the property, and ensure they are properly extinguished before retreating for the night. We also love to grill out, please feel free to use the grills located around the property. We ask that guests use one of the grills on property and leave their personal grills at home. If you need more propane or fire wood, let us know!
