The Pic River Guest Suite is a delightful flat located just 3kms up river from the entrance of Pukaskwa National Park. It consists of the original 2 room mini apartment-style guest suite located at 31 Rabbit Dr. in Biigtigong (Heron Bay, Ontario) and a 3 bedroom private main floor of a house at 15 Rabbit Dr. Both places are lovely, with different advantages. Property and Cancellation Policies :
- Due to our small hotel capacity, we have found it necessary to adopt a strict cancellation policy. To avoid losing your money in the event you need to cancel your reservation, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. That said, we will do our best to work with you.
- We accept full or partial cancellations up to 14 days before your arrival date without any penalty (apart from your non-refundable booking deposit). If a cancellation is requested within 14 days of the reservation date, we will attempt to sell the space to someone else. If we are able to re-book the room, you will receive a refund of your balance, apart from your booking deposit, if it has already been paid.
- "No shows" will not receive any refund. No partial refunds or credits will be given for unused room reservations, due to circumstances beyond our control, such as change of mind, missed flights etc.
- In case of cancellation due to a natural disaster, such as a world pandemic, all payments (apart from your non-refundable booking deposit) will be applied to a future stay within one year of the cancelled stay. There are no refunds for natural disasters, future credit only.
Terms and Conditions
- All reservations must be paid in full prior to arrival.
- We take bookings online (24hrs) or by phone (8am -5pm EST). We require 1 day advance notice to give us time to prepare for you arrival.
- Our check-in time is at 5:00PM and our check-out time is at 11:00AM.
- 25% of the total cost of your stay, is due to secure your reservation and is non-refundable. Final payment is due by 7 days before the check-in date or immediately upon booking if the reservation is made within the week of your stay).
- We accept payment by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), PayPal, or Emt. Exchange rates and charges are subject to change. We do not accept Travellers Cheques.
- All rates shown on the website are in Canadian dollars.
- Rates do not include 13% HST.
- We can add extra beds to most of the accommodations.
- All of our rooms and patio/entrance areas are non-smoking, and no vaping.
- We only take advance, multi-night bookings but if you need to book a single night, please call us. There will be a $50.00 extra cleaning fee added to the rate. As always, we would require at least 24 hours advance notice.
