All minors must be accompanied by their parents or, failing that, present written authorization from their parents and certified by a notary indicating their permission for that adult to represent them.

Taironaka is getting ready to serve visitors! We comply with the guidelines of the bio security protocol, to generate confidence in those who take our services. All Taironaka collaborators know the protocol and know that it is their duty to wear personal protection elements permanently and also keep their distance from each other. We promote the use of masks as mandatory in our facilities, physical distancing and hand washing. For this we have provided information notices and dispensers for disinfectant and cleaning products, so that visitors can wash frequently. To guarantee as much as possible the prevention of contagion, please take into account the following:

1. Reserve our services 24 hours in advance.
2. Our boat can only transport 6 people per trip.
3. We receive groups of a maximum of 15 people at a time, distanced from each other during the tour of the Museum and the trails.
4. The restaurant will serve a maximum of 30 people at a time and in the form of a served dish. We invite you to safely enjoy Taironaka and the Don Diego River!

Taironaka Ecological Tourism is located 80 kilometers from the airport, 56 from the city of Santa Marta and 20 from the Tairona Park. Surrounded by the exuberant nature of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and on the banks of the refreshing Don Diego River, Taironaka offers an experience of relaxation and encounter with nature. The arrival at the hotel is by waterway, taking a boat from the port, near the parking lot and going up the Don Diego river; travel time, 15 minutes. . The maximum time to take this boat is until 4:30 pm, if you arrive after this time there will be an additional cost.
Located in what was a Tairona settlement, Taironaka is a cultural experience of the legacy of the ancestral Taironas; It has cabins with thatched roofs and an excellent view over the Don Diego River; It has at its service 9 rooms with double, triple and family accommodation; The rooms are spacious, with a private bathroom, fan, electrical outlet, social area, and hammocks. It works with energy produced by solar panels.

The establishment has a restaurant specialized in typical Caribbean food, vegetarian menu and drinks, Wi-Fi zone in the restaurant; free parking, and recreational activities.

Late check-out time: 2:00 p.m.
Late check-out charges: 50%
Late check out (after 11:00 a.m. and before 2:00 p.m.) will result in a fee.

Cancellation Policies:
The client can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the arrival date.
The client will have to pay the first night if he cancels the same day of arrival.
Penalty for cancellation: The non-presentation to the service will be penalized by the total value paid.
