Hostel Sunny Days is owned and operated by a retired couple, Ross a New Zealander and Beatriz a Chilean who provide a rather unique laid back homely atmosphere ideal for cultural tourists looking for a place to relax away from the pressure of a busy tourist environment.

· A guest can cancel free of charge at any time, but please inform us if you are not going to arrive! A “No Show” guest is our worst nightmare as we wait in expectation fora total disappointment.

The Basics· No prepayment is needed. We prefer cash payments upon arrival. Payment with a Credit Card attracts a 5% surcharge.·
No parties or alcohol drinking sessions are allowed. Non-compliance attracts a visit from the police and expulsion from the property!·
No pets allowed.
Guest address details - Guests have to provide their address details when they “Check in”.
Guest phone number - Guests do not have to provide a phone number when they book, however they do upon registration on arrival at the hostel.
Age limit - No age limit
Curfew - No curfew
Room Service Policy· Rooms will not be made up daily. Should you need fresh towels or linen, please ask the management.
Vehicle Parking· If you park a vehicle at our hostel, you (and your guests) do so, on your own accord. The hostel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. But we have surveillance cameras watching over the parking lot so, should anything seem amiss, let us know, and we’ll check out the footage.
Smoking Policy· No smoking within the hostel indoor areas and bedrooms, in order to allow guests to relax in rooms free of environmental smoke residues. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor patios, roof, and garden areas. All other areas are No Smoking, please.
Accessibility and special needs.· The hostel is not suitable for travelers that have special needs for accessibility owing to the original design dating from the 1950s.
Taxes and additional costs· Chilean tax laws determine that all guests staying at this property, Chilean citizens and foreign tourists must pay a fee of 19% sales tax (IVA).· * This fee is included in the accommodation price.
Coronavirus(COVID-19)· Please ensure that you are booking this property following the current local government guidelines of the destination, including but not limited to the purpose of travel, and maximum allowed group size.·
To protect our guests during the pandemic, we have created 3 separate units within our hostel. Upon confirmation of a reservation, a guest will be assigned the unit of their choice for their exclusive use during their stay.·
When the guest(s) arrive, they will enter through the main door of the hostel to register. Future exits and entrances are made through a secondary door that is exclusive for guests.
Sanitization materials are available there and recommended for guest use. ·
All the recommended procedures to avoid infection will be observed, from temperature check upon arrival, use of masks and distancing are practiced when interfacing with the owner-operator staff.·
Vacated units and rooms will be left undisturbed for 24 hours before cleaning and full sanitization is undertaken in accord with recommended policies of authorities. ·
We wish our guests to feel assured their health status is being protected within our hostel during their stay.
