The Blue Elk Inn is a unique and comfortable dog-friendly inn located in Leavenworth, WA. Formerly the Alpen Rose Inn, the hotel has received a complete makeover since it changed ownership in 2019. We’ve freshened the place up from top to bottom with brand new rooms and furnishings, and we've added new amenities such as a new hot tub and two new saunas. A lot has changed, but the friendly staff and the beautiful Leavenworth experience you know and love hasn’t changed a bit. While you're here you can relax by our seasonal outdoor pool or enjoy a stroll along the river, a short walk to downtown, or a self-guided bike tour with our complimentary bike rental.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
DEPOSITS, RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
Reservations booked online require a deposit in the amount of the first night plus tax.
Reservations for stays during holiday weekends, Oktoberfest weekends, and the entire month of December have a 2-week cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of your arrival date result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
All other dates have a 72-hour cancellation policy. You may cancel free of charge up until 72 hours before your arrival. Within 72 hours, you are responsible for the first night plus tax.
TRAVEL
Leavenworth is a lovely place to visit in the winter, whether to hit the slopes or sit back and enjoy some Gluhwein! When making a reservation for the winter months, please prepare for potentially snowy travel conditions over mountain passes and in town. Our cancellation policies apply unless both Snoqualmie and Stevens passes are closed for more than three hours. Please visit Washington’s department of transportation website to ensure you’re prepared for safe travel.
Terms and Conditions
ALL GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING POLICIES UPON CHECK-IN:
DAMAGES/LOSS:
Blue Elk Inn is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to my vehicle or to items left in my room or vehicle. I agree to be personally liable for any damages resulting from my stay and I authorize the hotel to charge my credit card. SUITES* If I use the kitchen in the Suite, I agree to clean it to its original condition. If not, I agree to pay a $75 cleanup fee (plus taxes).
QUIET HOURS/COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER GUESTS:
I authorize the Blue Elk Inn to charge my credit card for all damages resulting from me or my fellow guests causing excessive noise and/or other disturbances. This includes reimbursement to the Inn for any refunds extended to other guests as compensation for their complaint. I agree to respect quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am and if there is a noise complaint from my room after quiet hours, I agree to pay a $50 penalty.
ROOM SELECTION:
I agree to notify the front desk within 10 minutes if I have any concerns regarding my room. If I use the room (bed, bathroom, glassware, etc) and then choose to be relocated, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged to my credit card in addition to any increase for room and tax associated with my new room assignment.
SMOKING:
All rooms, balconies, patios, and decks are NON-SMOKING. Should I choose to smoke cigarettes, vape, or light candles or other items in the room (or if there is any evidence of these activities such as odor, ashes, butts, etc) I agree to pay the hotel a $250.00 damage fee. If the fire alarm is triggered from my room, I authorize the hotel to charge the $600 fee imposed from the Chelan County Fire Department to my credit card. Marijuana use is not allowed anywhere on the property.
LOST KEYS:
I agree to pay a $50 fee for each lost key set.
CHECK OUT:
I agree to check out by 11am or to make arrangements in advance with the front desk for an alternate time (fees may apply). If late check-out is available for my room, I authorize Blue Elk Inn to charge my credit card $25 to check out at 12pm or $40 to check out at 1pm. If I leave later than the agreed-upon time, I authorize my card to be charged a $50 fee.
WE ARE DOG FRIENDLY!
The Blue Elk Inn welcomes your pups for an additional fee based on room type (per pet, per night). This pet fee is non-refundable.
Standard Room: First dog $25 (each additional dog $10)
2 or 3-Bedroom Suite: First dog $30 (each additional dog $15)
To ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable time at the Blue Elk Inn, we ask you to bring your pup only if you agree to the following:
·My pet is well-trained and is not aggressive toward people or other animals.
·My pet is free of ticks and fleas and is up to date with vaccinations.
·My pet will be on a leash any time outside of our hotel room.
·I will keep my pet out of the dining room and pool area.
·If I leave my pet unattended in my hotel room, I will provide the front desk with a mobile number. I will return immediately to the hotel if there are any complaints about noise from other guests. Complaints from guests may result in additional charges.
·I will clean up after my pet in the designated pet area and dispose of waste in outside dumpsters.
·I will not bathe my pet in room sink or bathtub.
·Should there be any pet accidents in my hotel room, I will notify staff as soon as possible to ensure the appropriate cleaning efforts are met.
Please keep in mind that we work very hard to maintain our grounds. We have a designated pet relief area on our property. Pet owners are responsible for injuries or damages caused by the pet. Excessive noise, cleanup, or damage may result in additional charges to your credit card. We may also ask you to leave our property without refund.
PRIVACY POLICY
The Blue Elk Inn understands the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about guests, callers to our reservation line, and visitors to our website. We collect information only in a manner deemed reasonably necessary to serve our business purposes and comply with our legal obligations. On our website we do not collect personally identifiable information from customers unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. When you reserve a room with us we will capture information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card number to process your reservation. The primary purpose of capturing your e-mail address when you make a reservation with us is to send you a reservation confirmation. We safeguard our customers' personally identifiable information by using industry standard practices.
RATE CHECK
