The Damayanti is a boutique hotel offering traditional culture for the modern traveler. Our mission is to provide an intimate setting that’s luxurious yet eco-friendly and facilitate a meaningful cultural experience of Bali and a real look into Balinese life. We serve individuals, families, and group leaders seeking a nourishing setting for their wellness retreats. The hotel was gutted and renovated in the spring of 2019 with a lot of sweat, reverence, and love. Each room is decorated with antique Balinese and Javanese furniture, art, architectural pieces, and traditional textiles and prints, and many of our rooms are in antique teak “joglo” houses. A stay at the Damayanti combines a reverence for history and the sacred land we live on with thoughtful, luxurious touches that modernize a traditional experience. Only a 15-minute walk from Ubud, the hotel is conveniently situated, but far enough out of town to offer you some peace and quiet. With just seven rooms on our property, we’re able to give each guest our loving attention and can provide bespoke experiences for you or your group such as excursions and tours, Balinese performances and ceremonies, cooking classes, and more ways to take a look into real Balinese life.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
- Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to check-in date will be not be charged.
- Cancellations made 15-29 days prior to check-in date will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount.
- Cancellations made 0-14 days prior to check-in date will be charged 100% of the total reservation amount.
- Reservations that are shortened between 0-14 days prior to check-in date will be charged 50% of the shortened amount.
- Reservations that are shortened after checking in will be charged as per the original reservation.
- No shows will be charged 100% of the total reservation amount.
- In the case of a natural disaster, all cancellation policies will be waived.
- Group/retreat cancellation policies will apply as per the terms of the Group Contract.
Please also note that the cancellation policy does not apply to group bookings. Refunds will be made by the same method the payments were made and to the specific card used at the time of the booking.

Reservations
Bookings can be made online, by email (info@thedamayanti.com), or in person with our reception team at the hotel. You agree that you may only make reservations for yourself and your invited guests, and you must not make reservations for the purpose of reselling, posting, advertising or marketing reservation information through third-party websites or other means, or any false, fraudulent, or speculative reservations. We cannot accept bookings made by housing associations. If you, or through any third party or agency, need to book on behalf of one or more proposed guests, you must make the reservation directly through our reception team. Change of guest name of any reservation is not allowed unless there are any special circumstances deemed acceptable by our booking team. The hotel has the right to reject any guest from checking in if the guest name is different from the name as stated on the reservation. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the reservation you made in its sole discretion without notice if it appears that any reservation has been made in breach of the above terms or involve any abuse of the reservation service.
The rates include taxes, breakfast and linen. Breakfast is included; however, if your group exceeds 17 people, special conditions apply. Contact us for

Age Restrictions
Please note that bookings cannot be accepted for guests under the age of 18 unless they are over 16 and accompanied by an adult.
Payment
Full pre-payment is required at the time of the booking for any reservation made through our website or directly with our reservation team. See cancellation conditions above for a refund of this deposit. Any outstanding balance must be paid immediately when checking in at the hotel. We accept cash (IDR only), Paypal, and bank wire transfers.
Check-in and Check-out
You can check in from 2pm, and check out is at 11 am. Please contact us if you’d like an earlier check-in time or later check-out time. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request. You can also leave your luggage in our storage room.
Please do not forget to pack your ID! Make sure to bring a valid identification with you, preferably a passport, government issued national identity card, residence permit, military ID, or driving license. We are unable to check anyone in without this, so make sure to pack your ID! Students cards and security badges are not accepted.
