Rimrock Ranch is a beautiful 36 acre property situated just outside Joshua Tree National Park in Pioneertown, California. The ranch was originally built as the weekend retreat for western actors like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers. It consists of 4 rustic Cabins, retro-fitted Airstream trailers, a lodge and the internationally famous architectural masterpiece known as the Hatch House. The ranch is located just 2 hours from Los Angeles and 40 minutes from Palm Springs. Rimrock is the perfect getaway for those visiting Joshua Tree, or Pioneertown while taking in live music at the world renowned Pappy and Harriet’s. Rimrock is also a serene location for weddings, retreats, film/photography shoots or celebrations of any kind.

PAYMENT POLICY Our rates are all inclusive, based on double occupancy, unless otherwise noted. Reservations are confirmed by full payment. A valid id must be presented at time of check in along with a credit card for security deposit authorization. We collect credit card information upon check-in and reserve the right to run a pre-authorization for security.
CHECK IN/OUT Check in is at 3pm, check out is at 11am. Exceptions can be made for late check-ins. Just ask!
PARKING Free parking is available to all guests.
DOGS We charge $50 per dog per stay. Every dog owner must sign the dog waiver. The Lodge is not a Dog Friendly Accommodation.
HORSES We have horses on the property. By staying here you and your guests, including children and minors, are subject to the Inherent Risk Law. You are responsible for your own safety, as horses are inherently dangerous. There is no such thing as a "spectator" when on property, you are responsible for your own safety.
DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS Damages or missing items from rooms post check out will be charged to your security card on file. These include but are not limited to remote controls, art work, memorabilia, linens, pillows, mugs, room key, books, etc. We reserve the right to charge for any damage to or removal of items from the premises and/or unusual cleaning. Please inquire if you have any questions or concerns about this policy. We charge $50 for lost or stolen keys.
LOST ITEMS Items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur a minimum charge of $10 and may take up to 30 days to receive. We apologize for any inconvenience. To avoid this, please be sure to thoroughly check your room for items that are of value to you prior to your departure.
FIRE WARNING The property is located in a high-fire risk zone. Our property has been victim of wildfires in the past. Therefore, we do not allow fireworks, sparklers, smoke bombs or fire lanterns or sky lanterns of any kind. We do not allow wood burning campfires. We provide propane fire pits behind cabins and common areas instead, and they are the only type of fire we allow on property. If anyone breaks this policy, you will be reported to CalFire and fined $500.
MUSIC AND NOISE Amplified music and noise to be cut at 10p sharp. Please respect our community and keep noise levels to a respectable level past 10pm as well.
COMMUNITY AREAS Community areas are everyone's to enjoy. Please clean up after yourselves after you are done using a space.
IF WE MUST CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION We are a small motel. In the event where we have to change your reservation, we will refund you in full or in part, depending on the situation, and rebook you at another, comparable, accommodation within our own property or nearby at our own expense. This happens rarely, but emergency repairs and conflicting bookings can happen. We appreciate your patience if this must happen.
