Property and Cancelation Policies:
CANCELLATION POLICY As we are a small independent business, cancellations affect us greatly. All individual reservations are to be paid in full, and are non-refundable unless we are able to find a replacement booking. We understand things happen, so there are some exceptions to this rule. All Event reservations are to be paid at the agreed upon payment schedule you find on your invoice and contract. Please be sure to acquire trip insurance in the event of unexpected illness, death or weather related emergencies as we are not able to make an exception to this policy. All cancellations must be provided to the innkeeper in writing.
PAYMENT POLICY Our rates are all inclusive, based on double occupancy, unless otherwise noted. Reservations are confirmed by full payment. A valid id must be presented at time of check in along with a credit card for security deposit authorization. We collect credit card information upon check-in and reserve the right to run a pre-authorization for security.
CHECK IN/OUT Check in is at 3pm, check out is at 11am. Exceptions can be made for late check-ins. Just ask!
SMOKING All rooms are Non-smoking.
PARKING Free parking is available to all guests.
DOGS We charge $50 per dog per stay. Every dog owner must sign the dog waiver. The Lodge is not a Dog Friendly Accommodation.
HORSES We have horses on the property. By staying here you and your guests, including children and minors, are subject to the Inherent Risk Law. You are responsible for your own safety, as horses are inherently dangerous. There is no such thing as a "spectator" when on property, you are responsible for your own safety.
DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS Damages or missing items from rooms post check out will be charged to your security card on file. These include but are not limited to remote controls, art work, memorabilia, linens, pillows, mugs, room key, books, etc. We reserve the right to charge for any damage to or removal of items from the premises and/or unusual cleaning. Please inquire if you have any questions or concerns about this policy. We charge $50 for lost or stolen keys.
LOST ITEMS Items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur a minimum charge of $10 and may take up to 30 days to receive. We apologize for any inconvenience. To avoid this, please be sure to thoroughly check your room for items that are of value to you prior to your departure.
FIRE WARNING The property is located in a high-fire risk zone. Our property has been victim of wildfires in the past. Therefore, we do not allow fireworks, sparklers, smoke bombs or fire lanterns or sky lanterns of any kind. We do not allow wood burning campfires. We provide propane fire pits behind cabins and common areas instead, and they are the only type of fire we allow on property. If anyone breaks this policy, you will be reported to CalFire and fined $500.
MUSIC AND NOISE Amplified music and noise to be cut at 10p sharp. Please respect our community and keep noise levels to a respectable level past 10pm as well.
COMMUNITY AREAS Community areas are everyone's to enjoy. Please clean up after yourselves after you are done using a space.
RULE ENFORCEMENT If at any time a guest(s) become disrespectful of property owners, argumentative with staff, or disobey the rules set forth in this document, the property owners reserve the right to ask anyone to leave and/or call law enforcement without warning. Depending on the severity of the offense, we reserve the right to prosecute according to law.
IF WE MUST CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION We are a small motel. In the event where we have to change your reservation, we will refund you in full or in part, depending on the situation, and rebook you at another, comparable, accommodation within our own property or nearby at our own expense. This happens rarely, but emergency repairs and conflicting bookings can happen. We appreciate your patience if this must happen.

EVENTS AND PHOTO SHOOTS All photo shoots and filming are subject to advance approval by the owners. At least seven days advance written notice required prior to any personal or professional photo shoots. No closed door filming allowed. Additional fees apply. In other words, you may not simply reserve a room for a photo shoot or filming. This also applies to day of events such as weddings. IF YOU CONDUCT A PHOTOSHOOT OR EVENT, SMALL WEDDING INCLUDED, WITHOUT CONSENT YOU WILL BE CHARGED OUR EVENT FEE OF $5,000 PER DAY. A separate contract is required. No hourly rates available.
PRIVACY POLICY When you visit this website you may provide us with information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). When credit card details are collected, we simply pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete credit card details. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
