Welcome us at the Soffta Surf Ranch!
"Soffta" is a Swedish slang for "Take it easy/relax/enjoy" and thats the vibe we like to stand for.
We are running this homestay/hostel together in a small open minded and friendly community.
It's the perfect place to have a vacation, meet new friends from all over the world and a good starting point to explore the rest of the island.
We have a big spacious property with a lot of plants and places to hang out. It is located 50 meters inside from the sometimes busy and noisy tourism road.
Location is A+ in the heart of General Lunas main tourist spot, there are many restaurants and party venues close by and only a 250 meters walk to the beach.
It is only around 1 km to G.L town for grocery shopping and about a 5 minute drive to the famous Cloud 9 surfing wave(and theirs heaps of other waves in very close distance from us).

Terms and Conditions
Amenities:
- Common kitchen with a fridge and free drinking water which you are more than welcome to use.
- CR/toilet unit has 3 toilets and 2 showers (1 with hot water).
- Free Wifi for our guests(we got STARLINK high speed satellite internet).
- Blankets and sheets(towels are provided at the reception with a deposit of p100/towel).
If you need transfer from Sayak, Del Carmen(IAO), we can arrange for our driver to pick you up for a standard rate of p300/person.
It takes about 45 minutes from the airport to General Luna(and Soffta).

However there are a few pointers that we need you to read and follow to make everyone’s stay more pleasant.
We do not tolerate racism, sexism or violence in our home.
- Check in 1pm, if we dont have a booking the night before early check in might be possible.
- Check out 11am(if you want to request late check out, please ask us if we have guest checking in this day.)
For long term stayers we offer free change of sheets and towel every 7th day. If you would request your bed to be changed earlier we charge p150/bed set.
- Please observe a calm and quiet atmosphere after 10pm(for the respect of your fellow surfers, island goers, neighbors and staff), o
ur common kitchen closes at 12 midnight.
This is not a party hostel!
If you want to party late and loud we recommend you to go to the beach or other party venues
- Segregate your own trash at our garbage station in the kitchen.
- Please dont leave food inside the rooms, leave and store your food in the kitchen.
- Turn OFF all lights and fans and AC when leaving the room.
- In the common kitchen please clean up after yourself. (Basic rule of thumb, leave it cleaner than it was) and always turn off the gas when not used.
- Please keep your belongings by your room/bed, not in the common areas.
- NO to trash/cigarettes on the ground.
- Don't flush down tissues or other sachets in the toilet. It will clog up our septic tank.
- Please wherever you go on the island leave it as it was(bring your garbage with you)
- Make sure to pay up your balance (if any) the day before you leave.
