"Pahoa Village Hostel" is a small 3 room hostel located in an adorable vintage building, right in downtown Pahoa, walking distance to many shops, cafes and more! Our hostel, like most worldwide is designed for travelers only. Hawaii residents are accepted only on a case by case basis and must first email us Photo ID's and reason for your stay. All guests are subject to background check.
All 3 of our Bedrooms are Private and upstairs with shared bathrooms and kitchen downstairs. We provide bedding and towels, Memory foam mattresses, Communal Kitchen w/Free Coffee & Tea, Hot showers, & High Speed WiFi. All rooms have a work station (desk with chair) perfect for remote working! We only take bookings here online (no walk ins or phone call reservations) Come see all that Hawaiian goddess "Pele" has created in the Puna district including lava flows, steam vents, craters, volcanic hot ponds, black sand beaches and more! By making a booking at Pahoa Village Hostel, you understand & agree to the following rules:
and explain reason for your intended stay to be approved PRIOR to making a booking. All guests are subject to a background check.
Only people on your confirmed reservation are allowed in the Hostel. Email Info@PahoaVillageHostel.com to add people to your reservation
3. Guests need to be able to read and follow directions. If you intend to make a booking for someone else, contact us.
5. All bookings done online (no walk ins) & Photo ID is required with confirmation. Same day bookings must be done by 8pm.
7. For same day bookings, please allow up to 1 hour to receive your codes.
8. Self Check in is between 2-9 pm. Check out is 11am (or sooner) Your codes will expire at 11am on your check out day.
10. Free parking on the public street. Do not park in Kaleo's parking lot or any private parking lots.
11. Quiet Hours are 10pm-8am. Some venues down the street play live music many nights. Free ear plugs provided at end of the hallway on linen shelf.
12. No smoking/vaping at the hostel including the lanai. No lighting any flames, such as candles or incense. All rooms are equipped with smoke detectors.
13. Per Hawaii law, smokers must go 20 feet from the building to smoke/vape. (that means outside the gate down the side away from the building)
14. No illegal drugs or underage drinking. Legal age is 21 to drink alcohol.
15. Guests agree to clean up after themselves in the kitchen and lanai. This means clean and put away dishes after use, and throw away your trash.
19. Security cameras in the common areas. Stealing, damaging or causing excessive cleaning will result in a $50 minimum charge and being banned from the hostel.
While most guests are wonderful, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and anyone who violates our rules may be evicted
