Dos Chorreras is located 25 minutes away from Cuenca on the outskirts of the
Cajas National Park, a natural place with spectacular nature located at an
altitude of 3,435 meters (11,270 feet) that was recognized as a Ramsar site or
Wetland of International Importance. Since 2002 we started with 17 comfortable
rooms and luxury cabins equipped with all the comforts of a first-class hotel,
and a big environment so that our clients feel at home while enjoying the
nature of Cajas and our fun activities. Also, you can taste a wide variety of
Ecuadorian and international cuisine dishes in our different restaurants, cafeterias
and chocolate shops. You can also find a shop where you can buy souvenirs and
other handcrafts, as well as sweets.
Our place is ideal for adventurers, couples, families or just a place to relax with friends. In Dos Chorreras you can take guided horseback rides, bicycle rides, excursions to nearby lagoons, boat rides through our calm water canal, an afternoon of sport fishing or learn about the history behind the village/museum of Guavidula, an authentic village faithfully reconstructed dating from the year 1900, where you will observe how the ancient inhabitants lived and their customs.

Semi-flexible cancellation: 50% non-refundable charge at the time of booking.
We require full pre-payment for the entire stay at the time of the booking and this is non-refundable the booking is changeable only 48 hours a pre-arrival day. Pre-payment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the booking.
Cancellation upon arrival will result in the for feiture of the payment. Cancellation and non-arrival charges apply after the relevant time and will be charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of booking. We reserve the right to charge for one night’s accommodation per room booked if the above cancellation requirements are not met.
Terms and Conditions
Bookings: All bookings at Hacienda Hosteria Dos Chorreras are subject to these terms. At the time of booking or at check-in, we will take your credit/debit card details and you authorize the use of this card for any expenses that become owing to us. We shall also have the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking in certain circumstances or if the booking includes the supply of certain items or services. No booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided.
Charges: The prices displayed on the Websites are an average per night per room until a rate is selected. Any meals, services, or VAT (at the prevailing rate) are included only if specified. A minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation charge, and other conditions may apply to certain rates, as specified. Once a rate is selected on the Websites, the total for your requested stay shall be displayed on the reservation summary.
The VAT breakdown shown is indicative based on the prevailing rate of VAT, and the expected VAT treatment of the goods or services. VAT will be payable at the prevailing rate applicable at the tax point of the invoice or booking confirmation issued and may change depending on the actual rate and the VAT treatment of the goods and services purchased at that date. Price lists for additional items, such as restaurant meals and room service, and shopping items, are on display at relevant locations within the Hotel and are available on request.
Check-in/ Check-out requirements: Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, Guests may check in at any time from 2 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival. All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 11:59 pm on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Hosteríal. On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by noon (unless a later departure is stated as part of your booking). Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hostería. If you would like further details, please contact our reception staff.
In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference, their passport/identity card/driving license, and a valid credit or debit card.
Late check out: After this time can be requested upon to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of Hostería.
Payment: For advance purchase rates the card you booked with must be presented on arrival, along with the appropriate ID, and authorized in the presence of the cardholder. All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Hotel. If the outstanding charges do not exceed the authorization taken on check-in, the authorization for the amount not utilized will be released, however, we cannot control how long it takes for your bank to effect such release. If staying for multiple nights at the Hostería we may require you to make payment for any outstanding charges on a more frequent basis during your stay.
Damage: We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hosteria during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.
Accessibility: Dependent on your individual needs a selection of specifically designed rooms is provided. Please contact our Call Centre at +5932-404-1824 to discuss specific individual requirements and the availability of appropriate accommodation, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. At certain times, facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather conditions, or other reasons beyond our control. We will attempt to keep all Hosteria guests informed of these circumstances however this may not always be possible. If any facility is a significant reason for your choice of lodge, we would advise you to check directly with the Dos Chorreras in advance of arrival.
Parking: Cars and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage however caused (save as may not be excluded or restricted by applicable law).
Events: Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year some of our hostería may host weddings, events, and parties, which you may feel would be an intrusion on your break. Please contact the reception staff directly in advance of your stay for further information.
No Smoking: Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas.
Pet-friendly terms: The guest is responsible for any damages to the premises caused by the pet, including, but not limited to urine, chewing, scratching, or destruction of property. Guest must pick up after pet at all times in all locations. Excessive barking is prohibited. If your pet has separation anxiety, do not leave him/her in the cabins or rooms alone. Guests found in violation of this regulation will be fined and/or be asked to leave, forfeiting any remaining rental nights.
Force Majeure: Dos Chorreras accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood, landslides, earthquake, extremely adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or another utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
Safety Policies for activities: Horseback riding is classified as RUGGED ADVENTURE RECREATIONAL SPORT ACTIVITY and there are numerous obvious and non-obvious inherent risks always present in such activity despite all safety precautions. Related injuries can be severe, requiring hospital days and resulting in more lasting residual effects than injuries or death may result in these activities.
Hacienda Hostería Dos Chorreras is NOT responsible for total or partial acts, occurrences, or elements of nature that can scare a horse, cause it to fall, or react in some other unsafe way. SOME EXAMPLES ARE: thunder, lightning, rain, wind, wild and domestic animals, insects, and reptiles, which may walk, run, fly near, bite and/or sting a horse or person; any irregular footing on out-of-door groomed or wild land which is subject to the constant change in condition according to weather, temperature, and natural and man-made changes in the landscape.
The client hereby agrees that although the risks of having accidents are clear to this voluntarily decision to practice other medium and low-risk activities releasing Hacienda Hostería Dos Chorreras, such us Bike rides, Canoe rides, excursions or sport fishing.
