AUTHENTIC SRI LANKAN FLAVOURS. Life at PALM revolves around the open-air industrial restaurant, bar, and pool area. Double height repurposed shipping containers and a steel structure with warehouse-style windows frame a single palm tree to create an arresting focal-point. The PALM all-day kitchen serves up dishes infused with Sri Lankan flavours and the menu changes depending on what is in season.​ The atmospheric poolside bar supplies daily doses of fresh juices, hand-crafted coffee and signature cocktails. 

A TONIC FOR THE MIND AND BODY. The PALM FIT​ gym is equipped with Crossfit, weightlifting, bodybuilding and powerlifting equipment. It features a wall of squat racks and pull-up rigs, barbells and weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, skipping ropes, hex dumbbells, plyo boxes and more.

Because we are a small hotel, we have to stick by a no-sense cancellation policy:

Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to the date of arrival: no fee.
Bookings cancelled between 29 and 8 days prior to the date of arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled within 7 days prior to the date of arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
No shows : 100% cancellation fee.

COVID 19 Cancellation Policy
Covid 19 has affected us at PALM and many other small businesses like us in Sri Lanka in so many ways, from hotels to travel agents but much more importantly the small fishermen, vegetable sellers and tuk tuk drivers who often live from day to day. What we all need is for visitors to return to this beautiful island as soon as it is safe again to travel. So, whilst there is so much uncertainty in the world we are implementing a “Covid 19 Cancellation Policy” where, if you cannot reasonably travel due to Covid 19 restrictions, bookings can be cancelled or postponed free of charge.
Terms and Conditions

The room rate is on the basis of Bed & Breakfast, net of service charge, including all statutory levies.

Room Occupancy

The room price is based on 2 guests sharing for all room categories. The Deluxe Suites feature a day bed that converts into a full-size single bed for a third guest. A third guest occupying the extra bed will be charged $30, including breakfast.

All children are welcome at PALM. Our rooms can accommodate two adults and two small children or one bigger child. We do not charge for children under the age of 12. Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, especially around the pool area.

The hotel's liability shall be limited to wilful acts and gross negligence by its employees or agents. Therefore, we do not accept responsibility for any death, personal injury, damage or loss of personal belongings unless it is caused by any fault of ours, meaning failure by us to use reasonable skill and care in performing our duties.
Third Party Liability: The hotel does not accept any liability for services rendered by third parties to our guests, notwithstanding that such services may be arranged by us. Any claim, demand, charge, suit or damages which may be incurred by the guests shall be made directly with such third parties and the hotel shall render all reasonable assistance in this regard.
