Welcome to the Ouray Inn! Originally known as the Circle M
Motel, this historic property was constructed in 1955 by Kenneth and Dorothy
Moorhead. People warned them that they
would go broke because the hotel wasn’t on Main Street. Here we are 67 years later, proving their critics wrong. As it turns out, a cozy
atmosphere, friendly hosts and comfortable accommodations are reason enough to make
the 1-block detour from Main Street. Today
the lack of traffic noise and easy walkability to all of Ouray’s attractions are
some of the Ouray Inn’s best features!
Over the years, the Inn has changed hands a number of times, but it has
always been family owned and you can tell it has been lovingly cared for by
each of its stewards. The current
owners, Christian and Kaytie Evans, purchased the Inn in September of 2020 after
managing a boutique resort in the Caribbean for 7 years. While they enjoyed the island life, they are
thrilled to be back home in the mountains and caring for this iconic hotel in
Ouray and its guests.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
We must receive notice of cancellation at least 48 hrs prior to scheduled reservation date.(30 days in advance if you are with a group that has booked more then 5 rooms.) If we do not receive notice in that time frame, you will be charged the total cost of your scheduled reservation. You must send cancellation via email to info@ourayinn.com or speak directly with the front desk (voicemail messages do not guarantee cancellations). If you booked through a third party website (such as expedia or booking.com), you must also cancel through that service provider to avoid cancellation fees.
Pre-authorization payment for the full stay will be 48 hours prior to arrival. (30 days prior for group bookings with more then 5 rooms.)
No refund on early departure or cancellation.
Terms and Conditions
No personal checks or AMEX accepted.
Children 5 and under stay free in parents room. All children activities are full responsibility of the parent.
All of our rooms are smoke-free, ash trays are provided in designated areas for those who wish to smoke outside.
NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN ROOMS - $250.00 charge for violation.
DOGS allowed with restrictions, if notified ahead of time. No animals of other types are allowed. We have a limited number of dog rooms so please call to let us know. Non refundable fee of $40.00 per stay with signed dog policy at check in. 2 dog and size limitations. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the room.
We are not responsible for loss of valuables of any kind.
Mailing forgotten items $25.00 handling charge plus Shipping Cost.

Rules and Regulations
Please notify us of late arrival to arrange for your check-In. Room subject to resell without late arrival confirmation.
Rental occupancy is not to exceed the accommodation limit for that room. Exceeding the accommodation limit will result in additional charges. Guest is responsible for the cost of all damages or missing items resulting from guest actions.
We cannot guarantee appliances, heating and air conditioning, weather, etc., and no refund or rate adjustment will be made for mechanical failure or acts of nature. We make every effort to keep appliances, etc., in good working order and in case of breakdown, we guarantee we will repair the breakdown as soon as possible. Please report all repair issues. We will arrange repairs and reserve the right to enter the premises for any repairs and inspections.
Your account will be adjusted for damages, extraordinary cleaning that might be necessary, laundry service beyond normal usage, or other warranted charges.
Any excessive cleaning charges, room damages, smoking in the rooms or missing items will be added to your account and charged to your credit card.
