Villa La Sirena is a four-apartment complex in the village
of Boca de Tomatlan. Boca, as it is
commonly called, is 11 miles south of Old Town Puerto Vallarta. Its waterfront location is at the east end of
the Malecon. It has excellent views
where the Rio Horcones meets the bay.
Adding to the view is the tropical forest across the river. Everything is close in this small village,
only a few minutes to palapa bay front restaurants and the village center with
local favorite taco stands, cafes and panaderia. Convenience markets are even closer. Boca is the terminus for water taxi service
to all the south shore beaches; some rated the best in Mexico. Many attractions, ziplining, Vallarta
Gardens, jungle ATV and horseback riding are close.
The Villa just underwent a complete renovation, everything
is new. Air conditioning was added. We do not add a surcharge for AC. Each of the boho hacienda style units has its
own unique décor. The traditional
Mexican architecture has been retained, but modified with locally crafted parota
wood bedside tables, headboards, shutters, and outdoor furniture. The Villa exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Boca and the Villa La Sirena offer an opportunity to
experience an authentic Mexico. Tourism
has only touched lightly this quaint fishing village. The villa offers an opportunity to relax and enjoy
the vibe of a bustling village with amicable, hard-working locals. Craving nightlife, more extensive dining, and
shopping -- Puerto Vallarta is close with convenient bus and taxi services.
