Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Alexander’s LandingResort (hereinafter, “Hotel”). Below are Hotel policies and procedures; readthem carefully. As our Hotel guests, by reading and signing your Hotelregistration card at check-in, you agree to abide by Hotel policies andprocedures. The Hotel reserves all rights to refuse service to any guests ofthe Hotel who do not follow or comply with Hotel policies.
Parking Parkingis extremely limited. We do not have enough parking for each unit at the Hotelparking lot. These spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Please be considerate of posted signs andother guests. Free parking is available up the street in the Indiana Beach lot.Cars and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. We do notaccept responsibility for loss or damage however caused.·
Check-In Check-intime is any time after 4 pm (early check-in not guaranteed due to high volumeof occupancy). Guests will be required to present a valid credit/debit cardupon check-in along with a valid form of identiﬁcation. Alexander’s Landingwill make every effort to honor special requests (crib, etc.) upon yourarrival. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed inadvance. ·
Check-Out Check-outis at 10 am. If you require a later check-out, please contact the Front Deskbefore 10 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodateyour request. A charge of $25 will apply, depending on availability. ·
Fees,Taxes & Service Guests staying in the Hotel may use the Hotelcommon area amenities throughout the duration of their stay. A condition of using the use of thefacilities is that you must comply with the rules posted throughout the propertyand listed in the in-room binder. All reservations consist of a $10.00 resortfee per night; Alexander’s Landing reserves all rights to any additional fees. IndianaState Sales Tax is 7% and the local county Inn-Keeper tax is 5%. ·
Deposit/Guarantee:Allreservations must be guaranteed for arrival by first night room deposit,guaranteed with a major credit card with expiration date. The Hotel does not charge the card on fileunless the reservation is cancelled within the 72-hour period noted, or a “no show.”The Hotel will not hold any reservation unless secured by the above method.Upon check-in, guests may use another form of acceptable payment for theiraccommodations.Reservations guaranteed by a credit or debitcard will be pre-authorized for 50% of total charges at booking. At the time of check-in, we will authorize ahold for the amount of $150.00 deposit for the duration of your stay againstyour credit/debit card, once you have checked out this amount will be releasedback to the card that was authorized. ·
AdditionalCharges We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge yourcredit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel duringyour stay (including, without limitation, specialist cleaning) or for any itemsthat are missing when you leave. Inventory is conducted prior to arrival andupon departure. ·
TotalCharges Totals listed here are estimated based on current taxes andexchange rates (if applicable) and do not include additional fees/charges thatmay be incurred during your stay. ·
Cash PaymentIfyou choose to pay with cash, you will be required to pay the full amount of theroom, including taxes and fees upfront. A $100.00 deposit per night is requiredand will be returned to you on your departure date.·
MinimumAge to Rent This property requires that you are at least 21 to check in.·
GuestCount per Room Total maximum number of guests per room/unit is indicated clearlyon the booking page and strictly enforced. Availability of accommodation in thesame property for extra guests is not guaranteed. ·
SummerWeekends During June, July & August, management will require a twonight minimum stay on the weekends. This is subject to change at Management’sdiscretion. ·
Currency Unlessspecified otherwise, rates are quoted in US dollars.·
Rates Ratesquoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose todepart early, price is subject to change.·
ReservationModification We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where itappears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity orunder other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain orresulted from a mistake or error.·
Acceptedforms of Payment In order for guest accommodations to beconfirmed, at the time of check in sufficient credit credentials for payment ofaccommodations must be provided through the authorization of a debit or creditcard. When a debit or credit card is presented for authorization, please beadvised that a credit hold in the amount of 50% of the room charges, applicabletaxes and a provision for incidental charges will be placed on the bankingaccount Accepted Methods of Payment:· Master Card· Visa· American Express· UnionPay·
SmokingPolicy Smoking is prohibited in all rooms, including rooms with abalcony (a $250.00 fee will be applied for smoking in a non-smoking room.)Smoking is allowed in designated “smoking” areas of the Hotel. Please see signsfor designated smoking areas.
IndoorHeated Pool & Whirlpool The pool and whirlpool are open from 8am to 10pmand are accessible by using your room key. No lifeguard is on duty. Childrenunder the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For health and safety purposes,children under the age 16 are not permitted to use the hot tub. Swim diapersare required for non-toilet trained children. ·
Loss ofUse At certain times, amenities may become unavailable due tomaintenance, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond ourcontrol. We will attempt to keep allguests informed of these circumstances however this may not always bepossible. If any facility is asignificant reason for your choice of the Hotel, we would advise you to checkdirectly with the Hotel in advance of arrival.·
Events Please beaware that at certain times throughout the year our Hotel may host weddings,events and parties. Please contact the Hoteldirectly in advance of your stay for further information if this willpotentially affect your stay.·
Code ofConduct Guests are always required to conduct themselves appropriatelyand to comply with Hotel procedures and/or requests about conduct and respectfor the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health andsafety. Guests are requested not todisrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel,or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodationor services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in ourreasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where thisis the case, management shall have no obligation to refund you for lostaccommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.·
Pets All petsare prohibited on property (a fee of $250.00 will be applied to the bill if apet is discovered). “Service animals” are allowed with proper documentation andprior authorization·
PromotionPolicy If you choose to take advantage of any promotions offered throughthe Hotel, please follow all restrictions associated with each offer.Management reserves the right to change or cancel all promotions. Blackoutdates may apply.·

Liability The Hotelaccepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance ofits obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as aresult of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable controlincluding, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weatherconditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire orfailure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plantmachinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures. ·
Loss orDamage The Hotel will not be responsible for the loss or damage of anyproperty left in the resort other than as required under local innkeeper’s law.·
HotelLiability The Hotel will not be liable for any indirect, consequential orpure economic loss or any loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity (whethercaused by the negligence of the resort, its employees, contractor or agents orotherwise). The Hotel’s total liability shall not exceed the value of thecharges received by it under this contract.
