We are more than a noisy rooftop, We have MANY SPACES to hang out: The terrace with a cool urban garden (Spot the hummingbirds' family living at the tree), The Pergolita to chill and relax, and the big Pergola where you can enjoy a cool drink and listen to good music. This beautifully remodeled colonial house features numerous common areas for socializing, entertaining or simply relaxing. The garden, terrace, and shaded courtyard are well maintained with local flora and fauna. Local artists have decorated the walls with graffities and urban art.
El Patio Hostel is located two blocks from the heart of La Mariscal, Quito's most entertainment and tourist diversity area. Located on Luis Cordero street, the most beautiful (spot the lamps hanging over the street) and SAFE street in the area (police station at the corner). El Patio is about 5 mins walk from Plaza Foch and 15 mins walk from the Old City, Artisan Markets and plenty of bars and restaurants to suit any budget and opens late. We want to create a traveler community in Quito related to conscious, sustainable tourism and fair trade, which promotes the values of peace, respect and collaboration as the essence of tourism practice.
It Is Ideal for solo travelers or groups, the room is bright and has spacious lockers so you can store your travel bags. Each bed has a blind in case you want privacy, a shelf to place your personal things, a lamp and electrical sockets. Staying here is like staying in your Ecuadorian friend's house.
All tariffs include a courtesy BASIC breakfast to start the day. (Coffee or Tea, bread, butter and jelly, Bananas, Andean Cereal, and milk.)

Terms and Conditions
HOSTEL POLICIES
1.- Check out time is at 11:30 am, check in 13:00pm. Late check out will be charged 50% on the night.
2.- If you are leaving before (7:30 am) the next morning, you must check-out in advance the night before 10:30 pm.
3.- Keep all your valuable things inside the locker. El patio hostel takes no responsibility of any loss.
4.- If you want to extend, change or cancel your reservation, please inform at reception (24 hours) before the planned check out date.
5.- If you lose or damage the key $10 dollars will be charged.
6.- Disorderly people will be ask to leave without warning.
7.- Any illegal activities will not be tolerated and will have severe consequences.
8.- It is forbidden to bring any food into the rooms.
9.- Smoking is not allowed in all rooms and in social areas of the hostel except of the terraces.
10.- Take care of the linen and furniture in case of damage, the respective value will be charged.
11.- You are responsable for keeping the common areas, bathroom and kitchen clean.
12.- Housekeeping schedule is from 9:00 to 14:00.
13.- Kitchen is available for guests from 8:00 to 22:00.
14.- You must pay the total of your stay in advance (check-in) at the reception.
