Crider's on the Frio is helping make memories every day while our guests enjoy the best nature has to offer. From our beautiful Frio River, always flowing with crisp, clean water fed by natural springs located on and above our resort, to the Biggest Bold Cypress tree in Texas located near Buffalo Creek which also flows through Crider's Resort.
Discover four seasons of family fun at Crider’s Frio River Resort! Meandering through the picturesque property, the Frio River is teeming with water-based activities. Hop in a tube and paddle the shimmering shores, toss in a line for some fishing or just stroll along its idyllic shores. If you’d prefer to stay dry, hike along Buffalo Creek and feast your eyes upon Texas’ largest tree, a majestic Bald Cypress Tree set along the shores. Once you’ve had your fill, return to your cozy, knotty pine cabin and watch graceful Axis Deer wandering along the river’s edge.
We are a family oriented camp where you will build memories to be cherished for years to come. We have been host to families for over 65 years. Many guests are the third generation to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Frio Canyon at Crider's. When our old friends show up each year it's like a big family reunion for us. We are open all year. Each season the Texas Hill Country offers a unique and special beauty. After the summer rush when the area is quiet and peaceful is an ideal time to visit us. Also, did you know that the Frio River is one of the top places in Texas to kayak?
The Texas Forestry Service notified us that we have the largest tree in the state of Texas. It is a bald cypress, towering over Buffalo Creek and the West side of the camp. The Forestry Service estimated it to be anywhere between 300 and 700 years old.

Cancellation Policy
Once your reservation has been processed, you are responsible for paying for the entire booking...
• If you decide to leave early or to cancel a night off of your reservation, you are still responsible for paying for that night.
• If you cancel your entire reservation between 45 and 31 days prior to your check-in date, you will receive your deposit back minus 50%.
• There will be NO refund within 30 days of your stay
• There will be NO refunds due to weather conditions.
• Cancellations must be done in writing or by email to avoid any misunderstanding.
• No partial cancellations will be accepted.
• "NO SHOWS" WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE ENTIRE STAY.
SPECIAL NOTE : If you book in the first wave of reservations; those guest staying 4+ nights, you are committed to staying the full number of nights booked. In other words, you CANNOT book for 4 nights, then reduce it to 3 nights at a later date. If canceling a reservation made in the summer for the FOLLOWING summer, only 25% of that deposit will be returned to you.

***PLEASE NOTE: THE RESORT & MAINTENANCE FEE HAS NOT BEEN INCLUDED IN YOUR TOTAL RESERVATION AMOUNT. THEY WILL BE ADDED MANUALLY TO YOUR INVOICE AND INCLUDED AS PART OF THE REMAINING BALANCE TO BE PROCESSED 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.***
YOU MUST BE 25 YEARS OLD TO BOOK.
If you can't present a valid ID when checking in proving you are 25 we will cancel your reservation and you will lose all of your money.NOTE : There is a minimum 3 night stay policy
We do not providing pillows, coverlets, or towels so you must bring those.Linen Fee (only required if you do not provide your own linens)
•Cabins 1-9 : $95.00 , Sheets for each bed & a towel for each person
•Cabins 10-14 : $115.00 , Sheets for each bed & a towel for each person
•Cabin 15 : $160.00 , Sheets for each bed & a towel for each person
•Creek Cabins : $115.00 , Sheets for each bed & a towel for each person
We are only allowing 2 guests over the max capacity and each guest is $35/person per day.
Extra vehicles are $25/day per vehicle no more than 2 extra vehicles per cabin.
Absolutely no day guests allowed.

SUMMER BOOKING for Following Year
If booking in the current summer for following summer, 1/2 of the deposit is due at the time of booking and is nonrefundable. The remaining 1/2 of the deposit is due the first week of January and will be taken automatically using the CC on file.
The balance of the stay is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. The CC on file will be used to automatically process your payment unless we receive another form of payment (money order, check, different CC) prior to the 30th day. If you cancel your reservation prior to Jan. 1st you will receive 1/2 back. If you cancel after Jan. 1st (and you've paid the other 1/2) you will receive 25% back.

EXTRA CHARGES : There will be an additional charge for any damages and for houses left in a condition that requires longer cleaning time than normal, such as pet hair, dirty dishes (especially if they are put back in the cabinets!!), dirty mattress pads, etc..
DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS : The deposit required to confirm your reservation is 50% of the total base rate for your stay before tax. Double check your dates! The balance of the stay is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. The CC on file will be used to automatically process your payment unless we receive another form of payment (money order, check, different CC) prior to the 30th day. If the aforementioned transaction is declined then we will contact you. It is each guest's responsiblity to contact us to settle the balance of the reservation. If the reservation still has an outstanding balance 29 days prior to arrival, then the reservation will be canceled and any previous payments are non-refundable.
Late arrivals and early departures are charged for the entire reserved stay.
Pet Policy
We expect people to treat our cabins with respect and how that relates to pets is this:
•There will be a $50 pet fee per pet
•You must bring extra covers to protect the beds, couches, chairs, etc... anything that you pet might be on
•You must pick up poop outside
•You must ensure your pet is not a nuisance to any of the other guests
•You must sweep up / clean up hair prior to leaving
If any of these steps are not followed there will be an additional $100.00 fee
Miscellaneous Rules
•No tents or pop-up campers permitted
•No ATVs / off road motorcycles / rangers / etc.
•No Cascarones ( Confetti Eggs )
•All cars much check-in a the office and receive a car pass. Every car above the allowed cars will be $25.
•Quite time 11:00pm thru 8:00am
•Park in designated areas only - do NOT park in the grass
If you have more cars than what is allowed they will need to be left at the office or other management agreed upon location.
•Day guests: Day guests are not allowed. Any unapproved guests will be asked to leave the property. Please remember that you are only allowed 2 guests above what the max capacity of your cabin is. Those 2 guests are $35/day.
•There is a very small camp located in the middle of our cabins, please be mindful of where you are so as to not enter their property, e.g. You are in the country, fences are there for a reason.
•Note: As long as you are in the river you may move about freely.
