The Anchorage is a thirteen-cabin resort nestled amongst mature cedars overlooking Paradise Bay and Cedar Island of Lake Champlain. You can find this hidden gem down a quiet dirt road, just one mile from Route 2 in South Hero, VT. As you approach the property, you will find the main lodge where guests come to dine, watch television, play games of pool, and sit on the screened-in porch. The cabins are scattered across the 6-acre property and vary in size and amenities. All cabins include linens, have private ¾ baths, and consist of one or two bedrooms. Some cabins also feature screened porches and living areas. Approximately three hundred feet of private sandy beachfront is just a short walk down the hill.
There are many amenities for guests to enjoy as well. There is free WiFi throughout the entire property and all cabins have dorm-sized refrigerators, coffee makers, and microwaves. Fire pits, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and colorful Adirondack chairs are scattered throughout. For an additional cost, guests can join us for a prix fixe, family-style breakfast. Rates are based for 2-person occupancy on 1 bedroom cabins and 4 person occupancy for 2 bedroom cabins. Additional persons per cabin will 20.00/person. Additional persons above capacity must have prior approval before reservation is made. Once guest checks in they are responsible for payment on all nights reserved.
