Mad Monkey Potts Point is a newly renovate hostel in December 2022 in the heart of Kings Cross. We offer FREE Wifi, FREE gym access, FREE nightly events, FREE Xbox & FREE nightly family dinner in our common area. Our kitchen, TV room & outdoor space create the perfect social vibe. Guests can choose between 4 and 6 bed dorms. All our dorms have privacy screens on the beds & powerpoint to recharge your devices after a great day out in Sydney. All rooms have shared bathrooms and toilet facilities. All beds come with clean linen.
No E-Bike batteries are allowed on the premises
We organise FREE events & discounted tickets for pub crawl. We are surrounded by our sister hostels Mad Monkey Kings Cross, Mad Monkey Downtown & Mad Monkey Bayswater, make sure you go to the correct one!
Please Note: Our reception is closed on the 25th December. You will not be able to check in or out on that date. Property and Cancelation Policies :
- Cancellation of bookings within 24 hours of reservation will be charged 100% cancellation fee for the first nights stay for the number of beds booked.
- Please Note: Payment for all reservations made between 24th December & 2nd of January will be taken when the booking is made and are NON REFUNDABLE. If credit card is invalid or inefficient funds you have 72 hours to update your details otherwise your booking will be cancelled.
- If customer fails to show up for the booking and hasn’t give notice of cancellation, reservation will be marked as no show and you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee for the first nights stay for the number of beds booked.
- Weekly rates become non-refundable once inside the standard cancellation period (24 hours) and cannot be shortened or refunded.
- If a customer fails to show up for a booked weekly rate then they will be charged 100% of the booking cost.
Terms and Conditions
- All Bookings
- We will charge your credit card 48 hours in advance. Our cancellation policy is 48 hours, you can cancel or change your booking free of charge (unless it is a Non Refundable) 48 hours in advance.
- We do not accept guests under the age of 18 years old or over the age of 35.
- Prices are quoted in AUD and are subject to change daily.
- Valid credit card and a valid passport are required upon check in.
- If you have made a reservation through an (online) travel agency you must cancel or modify through the agency.
- The following payment methods are accepted; cash, credit or debit cards (Visa and MasterCard only). We do not accept American Express. All credit or debit cards incur a 1% payment fee.
- The guest will be responsible for any loss or damage caused at the hostel by guests or visitors of guests.
- $20 fee will be charged for the loss or non-return of any keys to reception upon check out.
- When booking multiple beds in a shared dorm, we cannot guarantee to put people on the same booking in the same room, however we will do our best.
- Guests may not consume or store food and drinks in their rooms. Alcohol may not be consumed in any room at any time. Any alcohol or food found in the rooms will be removed.
- Smoking is only permitted within the designated smoking areas.
Additional Terms and Conditions for booking Weekly Rate
1. Weekly rates are non-refundable and reservations will be charged in full within 24 hours of the booking being made.
2. Weekly rates are non-transferable to other guests.
3. If you are a current in-house guest there is no guarantee that you will be kept in the same room when booking online, please book with reception if you wish to keep your existing room. - We will charge your credit card 48 hours in advance.
