We take great pride in our club's rich history and its picturesque lakefront location. We are committed to preserving its unique charm and ensuring its continued enjoyment for all renters. There is a House Manager on site throughout your stay.
Overview:
- The residential area of the CWC Clubhouse consists of rental rooms and a common space (kitchenette and lounge).
- The maximum occupancy (2 adults per room).
- Our guest rooms are accessible by stairs only.
- Fire extinguishers are located in the common areas.
- For the safety and privacy of our guests, non-occupants are not permitted beyond the first floor. Entertaining groups of non-occupants is not permitted unless booked as an event rental.
- CWC adheres to NYS, CDC, and Chautauqua Institution COVID-19 protocols and procedures.
- The House Manager is available 24 hours to address any needs. A guest welcome folder is provided in each room to reference CWC clubhouse residential policy and other information.
- Renters must observe quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am.
- All renters are expected to be considerate of others and respectful of their privacy.
- Cooking devices, including toaster ovens, are not permitted in renters’rooms. This safety measure is in accordance with the building fire code.
- The common refrigerator provided in the kitchenette area is to be shared equally among renters and kept clean.
- No food should be eaten or stored in renters' rooms to avoid infestations and damage to furnishings.
- Nothing should be attached to the walls or doors of renters’ rooms or the common area.
- Furniture in the rooms shall not be moved
- Renters may use the first floor when there are no scheduled programs or meetings. Renters must be appropriately dressed when on the first floor.
- The first-floor catering kitchen is never to be used by renters.
- Children under 16 are permitted only for a brief visit, not overnight, and must be accompanied by the renter.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the CWC Clubhouse, porch, or property.
- Pets are not permitted in the CWC Clubhouse or on the porch but are permitted on the lawn.
- CWC assumes no responsibility for renters’ personal property and will make every attempt to return left items within reason.
- Keys are issued to every renter upon check-in for locking their rooms and must be returned at the end of the rental period.
- Renters are financially responsible for any damage to CWC property, facilities, and grounds.
