Only steps from the beach, our cozy, Waikiki hostel offers convenient access to the finest beaches, parks, tennis courts, banks, restaurants, nightlife, and more! We are the hostel closest to the Honolulu Zoo, the Aquarium, Diamond Head Crater and many other local attractions. The Polynesian Hostel Beach Club is proud to cater to the budget traveler and backpackers. We strive to create an atmosphere where guests can socialize in the common areas and take part in activities exclusively available to registered Polynesian Hostel guests. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you with just about anything you want to do on while on Oahu and traveling the Islands. We are the only Waikiki hostel run by former backpackers and current budget travelers which makes us go above and beyond when helping you plan your trip.

Free cancellation until 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. Deposits will be refunded within 7 days of cancellation.

Terms and Conditions

We are thrilled that you have chosen to stay with the Polyneisan Hostel Beach Club.
Your payment details are required now to guarantee your reservation. The cardholder must be present at the time of check in to verify ownership of the card used to pay for the accommodation. A deposit of the first night stay will be charged to your card at the time of booking, with the remainder due at the time of check-in.
Cancellation must be made in writing before 2 p.m. on the day of arrival to avoid cancellation fee of the first night stay. Cancellations will be refunded within 7 business days.
Minimum age for stay is 16.
All guests must show proof of ongoing travel in the form of one or more of the following: flight itinerary, boarding pass, student ID, military ID, or flight employee ID in order to stay at the Polynesian Hostel Beach Club.

Hostel Rules (for everyone's safety and enjoyment):

No unregistered guests on property.

Excessive alcohol use and illegal drug use is prohibited on the property.

Please keep personal items in lockers or on beds in order to maintain a safe and tidy environment.

We provide laundry service for $8 during office hours.

Locks are available for purchase for $9

Food must be sealed tightly and labeled with your name, room number and date of departure. Any unlabeled or improperly stored food will be discarded.

Kitchen is closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Check out is at 11 a.m. Lggage storage is offered at no charge in our secure locked closet on the ground level.

At check out, please bring sheets and towels to reception.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property. Hawaii's strict smoking rules prohibit smoking on beaches, in parks, on public properties or within 20 feet of a door or window. Guests found to be smoking or vaping in rooms will be charged a $250 fee.

All guests are required to promptly wash, dry and properly put away any dishes used. Failure to do so will result in a $25 fee per incident.

Quiet time 10 p.m.

Late check outs will be assessed a $20 late fee.
